The included REDLINK PLUS intelligence system ensures optimized performance and protection from overloading, overheating and over-discharging. Bought the Sawzall to re-hab my daughter’s shed (12’X10′) it cut through the roof (2 layers of asphalt singles) and the floor ( bad 1/2″ particle board) with one 8 AH battery. I most impressed with the speed control trigger and the no nonsense blade change. It cut everything I tried. I wish Milwaukee blades would go on special more often. Absolutely stronger then my old 12A corded DeWalt
