Since we are do-it-yourselfers, we need good dependable tools. This Milwaukee Sawzall reciprocating saw is awesome. It comes in a nice hard carrying case. It has two batteries and a rapid charger. This enables us to do a lot more work without having to wait to recharge the battery. It also has an LED light for hard to see places. The charger even has a spot for the battery from my husband’s heated Milwaukee jacket to charge. It comes with a wood saw blade, but it can also cut metal with the proper blade. The blade has a quick release for easy blade changing. It also comes with a retractable hook for hanging in a workshop. We love it!

I love my new Cordless Sawzall it has so much power just like my corded saw. The Fuel 18-volt lithium-ion is the best as far as cordless tools. It is a bit heavy but to get the job done you need it to be tough and this saw is exactly that. I would recommend this tool and other Fuel tools to all that need a great powerful product. The battery life is excellent last all day.

This Sawzall is absolutely outstanding, with no drawbacks or compromises. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star review is that this is my second FUEL Sawzall. My first one had a defect where it wouldn’t hold the blade in properly. I returned it at my local vendor, and got it exchanged at no extra charge. Bottom Line: BUY THIS SAW. It beats everything else out there.

Brush less motor runs quiet and stays cool even after extended use. Tool is heavy but gives steady and balanced cuts. It is very close if not better than my “old faithful” corded.

This was one tool I wasn’t expecting to see in a cordless version, but here it is, and while I was skeptical about the power, it’s got plenty of it. Plenty of heft just like a standard sawzall, but well balanced so it’s easy to hold and use, though you certainly won’t be using this one handed. It cut through trees and lumber like butter, no loss of power with the high demand batteries. I haven’t used it with lower capacity batteries, and while it should work, it likely won’t work for very long, so I definitely recommend the high demand. Since this kit comes with 2 of those batteries & a rapid charger, you’re probably all set.

This sawzall is a beast. I thought my old corded Sawzall was the ultimate old house tool but this takes it to an entirely new level. Relatively lightweight, as far as these things go, tough and powerful. With a pruning blade it made quick work of some overgrown shrubs and bushes too far for the extension cord, then later that day a demo blade took care of a rotted staircase. A 14TPI metal cutting blade makes it the ultimate nail removal tool – no need to break out the pry bar when you have one of these. Just slice through the nails and yank out the beam by hand.

THIS 18 VOLT LITHIUM BATTERY CORDLESS SAWZALL SAYS QUALITY ALL OVER THIS PRODUCT, ALONG WITH A VERY NICE CARRYING CASE. I WAS GLAD TO SEE THAT LOADING THE SAW BLADE AND REMOVING IT TO PUT A NEW ONE IN WAS VERY EASY WITH THE LOCK IN AND RELEASE LEVER. WITH ONE FINGER TO MOVE THE LEVER UP OR DOWN AND THE OTHER HAND TO INSERT IT THE BLADE, NO SCREWS TO STRIP. THE BALANCE OF THIS SAWZALL FOR CUTTING IS RIGHT ON, LITTLE VIBRATION AND STURDY.

This Catalog No. 2720-22HD Milwaukee Electric Tool product includes reciprocating saw, two M18, 9.0AH Li-ion High Demand batteries, Multi-Voltage Rapid Charger, one saw blade, instructions and tough plastic carrying case. This saw has a 1-1/8-inch stroke length and variable speed control for 0 to 3000 strokes per minute. It is a heavy-duty, battery-powered reciprocating saw that performs like it is corded. It is a fast cutter that makes it handy to work just about anywhere without having to deal with extension cords, and often, with a generator for AC power. This tool is a bit on the heavy side at around 9.8 pounds, including installed 9.0AH battery. By comparison, my older corded 4-ampere Milwaukee SAWZALL weighs about 7.6 pounds, including cord. Because it is well-balanced and has comfortable rubber grips, the added weight makes little noticeable difference. I put it to use in a nearly full day of cutting and removing steel stanchions and cattle pens for an old barn being razed. There was no electricity for the barn area, the two 9AH batteries lasting the work day without recharge, a pleasant surprise. After running the batteries down, one to the point where the tool stopped, a full recharge for that battery took only about one hour and thirty minutes. Since I went through more than a few blades during this metal-cutting work, I came to appreciate the Quik-Loc blade clamping feature that involves just flicking the clamping lever to release the old blade and then again to clamp in a replacement. As some of the work was done in partial darkness, the LED light that illuminates the work area for a minimum of about ten seconds after a the light touch of the trigger is appreciated. The brushless motor for this tool has an electric brake to stop the saw within about two seconds of the time the trigger is released. That saves time as the tool can be safely removed from cuts and set down or hung quickly from the tool hang hook after cuts are made. Another safety feature is a trigger lock. My older corded SAWZALL does not have these motor brake and trigger lock safety features. The battery packs can have their charges topped off any time without concern about developing a “memory”.The saw and charger have a 5-year limited warranty. The battery packs have a separate 3-year limited warranty. I have a number of Milwaukee Tools, finding from past experience that warranty claims are handled quickly and fairly. This is a new, cutting-edge M18 tool that I expect to appreciate for years to come.

This saw is awesome! So much power in a cordless and I also received not 1, not 2 but 3 high demand 9.0 battery packs for the same price as the kit with 2 batteries. I am totally satisfied.

My Milwaukee M18 Fuel 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Sawzall Reciprocating Saw High Demand 9.0Ah Kit is AWESOME! The easy, quick-release for the blades is such a huge convenience. No more having to use a wrench of any sort, just your thumb. No power cord to mess with or accidentally cut or unplug. It even has a spring-loaded hook for hanging the saw on a ladder, etc.. The brushless motor is tight and powerful – just as powerful, if not more powerful than the electric models. The High Demand 9.0Ah batteries last a VERY long time. And another really cool thing about them is that they are interchangeable with all their battery operated tools. I have their Leaf Blower and their Hedge Trimmer as well. Two batteries came with my Sawzall Kit, one battery came with my Leaf Blower, and so with all this battery power (almost excessive), I got the Hedge Trimmer as ‘Tool Only’ to save money. I highly recommend Milwaukee tools whether electric or battery operated. Milwaukee is tried and true. You will NOT find another brand that can outdo a Milwaukee. You will NOT be disappointed. Buy Milwaukee!

This was not my first foray with Milwaukee M18 Fuel tools. I have a few most recently having bought the M18 drill. My past experiences left me with some high expectations. I also have the rocket led light which uses these high demand 9.0 batteries. So I knew the batteries performed well. But in spite of these things, until trying the sawzall I was not sure how well a battery powered version of a tool that takes as much power as a sawzall would do. I can tell you it does very well and has plenty of power. It is amazing how far batteries and battery operated tools have come in recent years. And, with the way it performs this one kind of sums up just how much progress has been made . I’ve had battery operated circular saws in the past and I was not terribly impressed. They have seen very limited use from me. But I’ve seen a lot of improvement so I felt the time of tools like this is finally here. I can say now, clearly it is. They are no longer novelties. They are goto tools now and this one is one is a good example of just how well they can fill that role now. The advances here in battery and motor efficiencies has finally made these into the work horses they need to be.You know what I’m talking about when I say for a tool to be worth the spot in your box and the hard earned cash in your wallet it has to earn its keep by performing in several ways:1. It has to have enough power to get the job done. Wimpy tools are a waste of space & money.2. It has be durable enough to stand up to the job. It can’t break under pressure.3. It has to perform and not be a hassle to use. It needs to save you time & help make money. After all that’s the real purpose of a tool. Every little time saver can be good but it needs to stay simple to use. It can’t be gimmicky. This saw kit dots all the i’s on all those points.1. It has ample power and it maintains that power a good long time. The dual batteries and the fast charging charger fit the bill in this area very well. Charging time is impressive. It’s a world lot faster than some my older 18V stuff.2. The build quality is great. It’s very solid and I think the rubber coating helps on being able to control the tool better when using. I had wondered how useful that feature was. It’s a bigger plus than I had imagined. Older sawzalls I used in the past did not have that. Nice addition.3. Performance is great. Having this kind of power without having to drag around a cord is flat out wonderful. Cords may be necessary but they can sure be a drag. Not dragging a cord with you more than makes up for the added weight of the battery. The easy to flip out hanger on the side is handy when you need to hang the saw to the side to free up a hand. It’s simple and sturdy like it should be.Obviously a sawzall is a tool that can get in there and make the cuts in places where other saws just won’t do the trick. You know what I mean and that’s why you use one when you do. Adding in the power this has without dealing with cords is a real time saver and a hassle saver. As for value, I think this is a package that is worth the cost and will earn its keep on the job. The 2 included batteries alone are most of the cost of the package if you buy them separately. So the case and the charger are basically like a bonus over buying it piecemeal. And it is these batteries along with the motor technology that makes this a set worth having. The case is a well built case and a good way to transport the tool and keep your investment protected. The only thing I would change is the blade storage area in the case. It’s big enough to hold some decent length blades. But I got a set of blades with a case and the case is too big to fit in there. Would be nice if it would fit. But that’s a pretty nit picking item and it still a nice solid case. One thing I found is that when you do not have cords to deal with yet have plenty of power you very quickly start seeing uses for a tool for which you might not have used its cord dragging counterpart. I saw a pruning blade for this and picked one up because I had four 20-year-old bradford pear trees that I need to get rid of. Sure I could use a chain saw and I will for the main trunk since it is huge. But man, this was great for taking off all the limbs. It beats the chain saw to death in several ways. It takes the limbs off like butter and you can get in there at all kinds of angles – upside down, whatever – without having to watch about leaking fuel out. And just not having to crank on a chainsaw is great. I’d never thought of using a sawzall for that before. And I would not have tried it with a corded one because it would be a hassle trying to keep that cord from wrapping around everything and getting tangled. I’d stick with the chainsaw before doing that. But this. This made the job so much easier. I’ll never use a chainsaw for pruning anything but the largest stuff again. Sweet. Another use for a pretty versatile tool.

I enjoy the idea that I can just grab the tool and go to a job. It is ready and charged and powerful enough to get me done quick. No need to try to plan ahead or delay work while waiting to charge something.
