The M18 FUEL SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw cuts faster than its corded counterparts and offers up to 2X more runtime and 5X longer tool life than competitive saws. The POWERSTATE brushless motor provides cutting power that has only been associated with corded tools. The M18 REDLITHIUM XC 5.0 extended capacity battery pack (not included) delivers up to 2X runtime and provides more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries. The saws REDLINK PLUS Intelligence ensures optimized performance and protection from overloading, overheating and over-discharging. The 18-Volt lithium-ion SAWZALL features an adjustable shoe, integrated LED light and a hang hook for convenient storage on the job. Compatible with 1-KEY, this is the industry’s first Reciprocating Saw that wirelessly connects to a smart phone to customize, track and manage a tools performance and location. I absolutely love this tool, my only complaint which is a tiny one is I cut a lot of stainless and the max speed is really high I wish it was a little slower or atleast a quick way to set the max speed. It is a variable speed trigger which helps me get by but that is the only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5

I bought this saw as a lighter alternative to my recip. No doubt, it replaced it in all but the most heavy demo. What surprised me was how much, with an aggressive pruning blade, I’d carry it everytime for yard maintenance and landscaping.That in mind, the only improvement would be a belt clip, lanyard or holster

Man this saw just keeps cutting. We use these in multiple locations and the get beat on, poured on and just destroyed yet it keeps cutting. Great tool just a little heavy so we have started using the hackzalls more to ease up on the guys however there are some task that you really need this saw first. One-key is a life saver when you guys misplace tools and you can locate them through the app.

We had a yellow brand and changed to the Milwaukee tools the sawzall is so much faster and all the m-18 tools are doing well. Only trouble we have had is with the blade release sticking, but we use them outside in lots of mud and water . We had to line the release often or it rusts and gets clogged with mud. Not really the tools fault. Overall we love our m-18s

Tried Dewalts corded and cordless, Ryobi etc, nothing comes close to the Milwaukee, love the locking mechanism and the stud grabber. Seems to hold up to water much better than the Dewalts did.
