Just a beginner, but I thought this was easy to use and has a good dust collection feature

I’ve owned an ‘orange’ cordless, compact for about 2 years and love the convenience. This Milwaukee M18 FUEL Compact Router is more powerful and runs smoother. The bit stops almost immediately and that is a wonderful safely feature. Fits well in the hand and is balanced when using either a 5Ah and I like the High Output 3Ah Compact for general round over work.

I use this product for little projects at home. I love it cause I can use it so many ways. I just need to collect some accessories. My edges will never be the same.

Used for home use mainly. Great tool. Small and compact but very strong and solid built!

This router is fantastic. It exudes a quality of construction that belies its cost. It is extremely powerful for its size and easy to set the bit height with precision. It is also very safe thanks to an aggressive blade brake which causes the bit to stop spinning VERY quickly when shut off. The light is bright and the dust extraction shield works very well. The only negative I can think of (and it’s a minor one) is that the spindle lock button seems a little flimsy so I just use the two wrenches instead of one wrench and the spindle lock. If you are looking for a cordless trim router that is made to very high tolerances look no further. I’d buy this again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it.

Compact and built strong. A job site is not complete without one of these.

I’m not the one to look at my tools i actually use them… I use them on the daily to support my family, the router preformed very well with everything I threw at it. From easing the edge of shelving boards, to routing slots for shellf standards into plywood. Don’t let the compact size fool you this thing packs a punch!

Very impressive trim rotor even being battery powered had plenty of power to rabbit a half inch deep by half inch tall with no problem in a pine piece of trim. They must have tool I plan on purchasing 4 keep from changing bits

Lasts quite awhile on a 5.0 battery. Magnifying sight is a bonus and led lights to see guide linesNot so good, height screw will vibrate plunging the bit down slowly

This went beyond my expectation and I’ve only had this for a little over a month. I have put a good amount of hours already and the amount of routing completed on woodwork looks professional. With excellent router bits, you have no excuse but to produce good quality work with this router. This, so far, is my favorite tool from Milwaukee and I own a good number of power tools made by Milwaukee. It’s size makes it easy to navigate the bits along the guides, template or whatever type of routing you are doing. My only compliant is the attachment for the shop vac. I believe it could’ve been a better design, but it’s really not a big concern for myself. I know for some people it may be. If it is, then you should note. However, don’t shy away for that reason. It’s really an excellent tool.

This router is great for small projects and it fits the hands perfect! Speed control is wonderful. There are two small changes I would have made, one being location of fine adjustment knob and the other being the dust collection adapter.

Always used corded in the past, but had recently gotten into the M18 system with nailers and impacts… picked this up for a remodel that I planned to build door casings in. Just as if not more powerful than corded and so convenient! I’ve since used it to chamfer trim and build a custom vanity. Wish I’d bought it sooner!
