I use a Body Grip Milwaukee router that I purchased years ago that still works great. I was looking for something smaller. I make custom casings and windowsills but mostly I make flutes on fireplace legs and round overs and ogees for small projects. The quarter inch shaft works fine for this applications. I’m setting up my Body Grip for a table router now since it is 1/2 inch shaft and I have all the bits. No pictures at this time though

This is the first router I have ever owned or used. The first thing I’ve used it for was to cut some rabbets to make some narrow shiplap. I really like the fine adjustment and it wirks great.

Always used corded in the past, but had recently gotten into the M18 system with nailers and impacts… picked this up for a remodel that I planned to build door casings in. Just as if not more powerful than corded and so convenient! I’ve since used it to chamfer trim and build a custom vanity. Wish I’d bought it sooner!

I use this router more often than I would normally use a router. The convenience of no cords and being lightweight( depending on your battery size) makes it fast to use and get the job done.. and then some! Would recommend to anyone interested in a cordless router( I would recommend Milwaukee anything, they just are that darn good! )

I use this router for construction to cut window and door openings. Good power for the task. Not as powerful as a corded router, but the versatility of being battery powered more than makes up for it.

After being lost in the mail for 6 weeks It finally showed up at my door. I was like a little kid at Christmas. I just tore the packaging away and there it was. What a beautifully built Compact Router. I do a lot of wood working projects in very remote locations that are off the grid and have no power. I no that if I leave my wood shop with a full charge on my Milwaukee M18 tools that it will last me up to 2 days with no problem. The battery tools that are yellow with black batteries are not reliable for my needs and I switched over to all Milwaukee. I gave away all my yellow tools over a year ago and I have no regrets. This Compact Router has a great feel and no project is to tough for this Router. I love it buy it and you will not be sorry!

This is my first router, I chose this match my other M18 powered drills. I am amazed at the build quality, portability, and ease of use. Very satisfied, so far with this little tool. I’m eager to get started on many projects just to use it. I would recommend getting the Compact Router Plunge Base if possible.

My biggest complaint using routers on long pieces was dealing with the cord. However I was hesitant to get a cordless router due to them being weak and not lasting very long. Since I am already invested in Milwaukee’s M18 line I gave this a shot. I am really impressed with the build quality, power and performance of this router. It has become my go to router for most uses. Slow start and dust collection are great.
