This is my first router, I chose this match my other M18 powered drills. I am amazed at the build quality, portability, and ease of use. Very satisfied, so far with this little tool. I’m eager to get started on many projects just to use it. I would recommend getting the Compact Router Plunge Base if possible.

Last bought a router in 1988. An excellent Makita. This one made grateful I had to replace it. If you’re doing on-site work, I highly recommend this option.
