This hedge trimmer does the job! The Lithium -Ion M-18 volt battery lasts forever using it for 3 – 6 hour days so far. The long cutting bar gives you a good reach for tall or large shrubs. Couple of minor draw backs… a little heavy and it can be difficult to work on the back side of foundation shrubs in tight quarters. This may take a little getting used to and a smaller version may make things easier.

This quiet operating trimmer is a pleasant experience moving from my Stihl Hedge Trimmer. No more mixing oil w/gas or pulling the starter cord numerous times or insulting my ears with loud gas engine noise or lungs with exhaust fumes. I give my Milwaukee Hedge Trimmer 5 Stars and also 5 Stars to Home Depot for quick delivery after ordering. Home Depot and Milwaukee are the best!

I really like this product, it works better than my old gas powered trimmer and the 120V trimmer that I replaced with the M18 Fuel. The battery life is fantastic and the tool is comfortable and well balanced but can be slightly heavier than expected when having to use at shoulder level while trimming the top of a hedge (which I realize is not a good ergonomic position to work in).
