Good saw overall but the blade guard sticks if you are cutting off anything less than 1/2″ or so. If you are shaving off the end of a piece of timber or pipe the angle on the blade guard will keep it from engaging and opening all the way. I am a master plumber and we occasionally have to trim the end of the pipe but you have to hold the guard up, which you cant do and hold the pipe at the same time (does the same with a 2x piece of lumber)

very well balanced and stable. vibration is well regulated. even the noise level is lower compared to my corded ones. the guard can be rotated on the fly, very smart! only wish the big red could come up with a quick release mechanism like the oscillating tool. kinda expensive for what it is. but it is the big red. so suck it up and get used to it, I guess. no more cords to worry about, a major plus for a thing like this. nice!
