This rechargeable battery powered circular saw delivers the same power and cuts faster than a 15 Amp corded saw, delivers up to 750 cuts per charge. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor was purposely built for the M18 FUEL 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw to provide the power and performance of a 15 Amp corded circular saw. Built-in REDLINK PLUS Intelligence ensures optimal tool performance and provides overload protection to prevent damage to the tool and battery during heavy applications while still maintaining compatibility across the entire M18 System. The REDLITHIUM High Output HD12.0 Battery Pack provides 50% more power and runs 50% cooler versus standard REDLITHIUM HD packs. Its superior pack construction provides the industry’s best protection against jobsite conditions. In addition to the circular saw, this kit comes with one M18 REDLITHIUM High Output HD12.0 battery pack (48-11-1812), one M18/M12 multi-voltage rapid charger (48-59-1808), a durable contractor bag, 1 ready-to-use circular saw blade, and 1 blade wrench.

You’d think that cordless power still couldn’t deliver power and confidence but this saw delivers. I recently bought another cordless from a competitor and it was under powered and obviously subpar. I don’t want to name names but it rhythms with Macheetah… this saw couldn’t power through… then I picked up the milwakee saw and it made little work of the same cut.

On my very first blade change the (plastic) thumb depress to lock the saw bent and locked into the blade. Had to take the saw apart on the job site and remove the spring and thumb depress. Was expecting much higher quality than that, seems an obvious failure point.

Great saw BUT when I put a 12 amp battery in it the saw seem to bog down under not a lot of cutting. I thought that there was problem with saw but when I used 5-6 amp battery saw preforms great. Don’t use with 12 amp batteries, it also makes saw way too heavy, kills your wrist.

I have used this saw to cut plywood, wallboard, 2×10 the saw does not slow down. It is easy to see where you are cutting, and levers are easy to grab as well as make quick setting adjustments. There seems to be some kind of protection for when the saw blade binds up it stops. Re adjust and your good to go!!
