The Milwaukee M18 FUEL brushless cordless circular saw was designed for carpenters, remodelers and general contractors that rely on durable and dependable tools. This rechargeable battery powered circular saw delivers the same power and cuts faster than a 15 Amp corded saw, delivers up to 750 cuts per charge. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor was purposely built for the M18 FUEL 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw to provide the power and performance of a 15 Amp corded circular saw. Built-in REDLINK PLUS Intelligence ensures optimal tool performance and provides overload protection to prevent damage to the tool and battery during heavy applications while still maintaining compatibility across the entire M18 System. The REDLITHIUM High Output HD12.0 Battery Pack provides 50% more power and runs 50% cooler versus standard REDLITHIUM HD packs. Its superior pack construction provides the industry’s best protection against jobsite conditions. In addition to the circular saw, this kit comes with one M18 REDLITHIUM High Output HD12.0 battery pack (48-11-1812), one M18/M12 multi-voltage rapid charger (48-59-1808), a durable contractor bag, 1 ready-to-use circular saw blade, and 1 blade wrench.

I worked at an aluminum fabrication shop and we did most of our hand cutting with circular saws. We got a sample cordless circular from milwaukee and milwaukee tools soon became the shop norm. I’ve used so many different circular saws and with the same saw blade the milwaukee just cut so much smoother. I also loved the light right on the blade so you can see where you were cutting. It’s no coincidence that this is the circular saw I have in my tool collection. Also the shop vac hook up for dust collection is really handy.

After using this saw on 3/4 ply wood and a 4×4 it was clear this thing just don’t slow down. It eats so fast, kinda drains the 5.0 ah batteries but that ok.

I use this product daily on the job as a carpenter framer. I researched the various 7” cordless saws. The Milwakee by far was my choice, well balanced with the strength to outperform even a chorded saw. Able to rip heavy wood with ease. I have upgraded all my tools to Milwakee fuel. I had issues with charger creating noise and smell on the first charge. After removing the battery and reinstalling it on to the charger the light switched to green. Other than that runs pretty good.

hello to start I like the Milwaukee tools for having worked with many of them but I must admit that the circular saw but a little disappointed at the beginning I was delighted but the more I use it and I realize that 2 things annoys me a thing when I cut a piece of wood lengthwise and the saw stops I do not know if it is a tool protection but I find it a shame because the saw of your competitor dewalt does not not and the saw is cheaper and I expected the milwaukee saw to literally crush this one as is often the case with your other tools and secondly the wood dust gets stuck in the non-removable guard I find it a shame on the other hand the saw guide is still as precise because these the second Milwaukee saw that I have because the other was the first generation one and lacked power in the work that I need to do now is what I regret my purchase no but I hesitated with the DeWalt and starting over I would still be bothered because all the rest of my tools are Milwaukee and I prefer them to my boss’s DeWalt tools apart from the saw
