The M18 FUEL 10 in. Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter saw was designed to meet the demanding needs of professional carpenters and remodelers. Delivering greater capacity than many corded 10 in. sliding miter saws and the POWERSTATE Brushless motor delivering corded cutting performance. The 2734 provides users a solution to replace their corded miter saws. The M18 REDLITHIUM XC 8.0 Battery battery pack delivers up to 400 cuts per charge making the saw capable of lasting an entire day on site with only 1-pack. Premium features like an adjustable stainless steel detent plate, cam locking miter system, easy access bevel adjustment lever and both a detent override lock and chop lock lever located on the front of the tool. The M18 FUEL miter saw is designed for easy operation and repeatable, accurate cuts.

Tool was near perfect out of the box. There was approx. 1degree offset on the bevel check. Instructions could be better at doing the alignment to get this to perfect. Saw is heavier than I thought it would be. I guess I was use to my 10″ chop saw. As usual the biggest complaint is the dust collection. I didn’t do a lot of cuts but what little makes it into the bag has and will always be a problem with this saw design. It appears the 12″ is better design but I don’t need a 12″ saw.

Solid miter saw. I use it when I am at the job site. I have a big corded 12 inch for the shop. This saw is made for contractors that need to pack a miter saw into their truck with out it taking up a bunch of valuable space, like a massive 12 inch miter saw would. There are many great features on the saw, such as the shadow light, soft start up, bevel detent operation is easy to use, and you can make cuts all day with an 8.0 battery. It is a quality made saw. Plenty of power. Yes, the other reviews are correct it does throw saw dust everywhere (due to bad design with the shoot leading to dust collection bag), but hook up a shop vac, and it eliminates the problem for the most part. The great thing is, it is designed to fit most common shop vac sizes. If you are looking for the most accurate fine tuned saw there is, this is not what this miter saw is intended for. Go buy a festool kapex. If you are a contractor that is on the move and needs one portable saw that can cut all common framing lumber sizes, and at the same time cut trim accurately, this is a great choice.

Used mine for 2 days of deck building so far on the initial charge. I’ve ripped several 2×10’s, 2×8’s and smaller mitres and I finally burned 1 bar (of 4) of power. Totally impressed to say the least. 2 others helping me took turns and felt comfortable with their cuts and the ease of use.What I wanted and achieved was a saw I could stash in my basement tucked away, did dual mitres and could go the distance… I have more.

I’ve cut everything from 2X10’s to maple crown moulding with this saw. I cut and installed doors, baseboard, and casing for a 1600 square foot main floor and it drained only half the battery. Super impressive. Its very light weight and takes up a small footprint. Easy to move around a job site. It lost a star because there is more play in the saw than I would like because of the design of the rail system. If you push too hard through a bevel cut it will transfer in your piece. Something to keep in mind when using the saw.
