This saw is A-MAZING I cut over 120 pieces of pine shiplap and molding. The battery was still more than halfway charged! I researched this saw the Milwaukee 12” and the dewalt 12” dual bevel sliding compound mitre saw. I took a chance with the Milwaukee and I was not disappointed! It cuts amazing (I did use a diablo blade on it) the shadow light takes a minute to get used to but other than that i have no complaints. Very happy with the purchase I wanted to get the Milwaukee table saw as well but they only make the 8 1/2” so I went with the dewalt 10” also fantastic

Put it to the test right away, I was very impressed with how well the brushless motor performed, accuracy of the bevels are on point and also with the battery life of the 9.0. After cutting all day, the battery never dropped below 50%! Dust collection with vacuum exceeds expectation, even though it is a little far back from the blade.

I puchased the Milwaukee saw after fighting with my older wornout blue saw. The Milwaukee is what I consider to be the best mitresaw for the money out there. My main goal was to have a saw that was ridgid at full out extension for cutting upper cabinet parts (12” wide) and not deflect. This saw does not deflect!! I also needed to be able to adjust it to be sqare when needed. It also does that. The degree detent segment has 5 button head screws securring it to the frame. Just loosen the screws with the included wrench and move the segment where you need it. I cut 30 113/4” melamine ends, shevles, and partitions dead square with the included 64 tooth 10” blade. The saw came with a 9.0 ah 18 volt batter, light on the right side of the handle, charger, and dust bag. The only issues i have, (not big ones) the saw will not cut all the way thru an 113/4” wide part. Their specs say it will cut a 2”x12”. (Actually that’s 11 1/2”) . Also, the typical poor saw dust collection! I was not able to install the included handles because if my space limitations. I have mine mounted on an appliance lift under a counter above an open base cabinet. The battery power and number of cuts is advertised as 400 cuts per charge. That’s suitable for my needs. Overall impression: I love this saw!!

As of Jan 2021, This advertised miter saw with the HD9.0 battery combo is at the various stores appears to the display model. I tried to purchase one at several stores in the metropolitan area…but they could not find the accessories. I was told that the “vendor” does not say that they are shipping it anytime. May be part of the reason the combo is not available for on-line sale either.I ended up having to purchase the XC8.0 combo kit that is in the boxes underneath the HF9.0 Display. Home Depot needs to update/remove this listing. The HD staff was GREAT in figuring out what was going and helping me settle for the alternate combo.
