I bought this for framing and siding. It’s absolutely amazing how many cuts you get on a battery. I get a blower with 8.0 battery as well to make sure I would have a spare, but I’ve never needed it. I run this thing for several hours and then charge overnight. It has no trouble with 2×12 lumber. It also has one of the easiest adjusting miter and bevel mechanisms I’ve used. Highly recommend!!

I have been using Milwaukee M18 products for quite some time now and have owned other manufacturers’ miter saws before I bought this one. Everything was easy to adjust and line up for precise cuts on crown molding, door/window casing, and baseboard. The battery lasts a very long time. I haven’t used it on heavier lumber such as decking materials, however I don’t believe I would ever run out of power because I have plenty of batteries and no cords to run.
