The M18 FUEL Brushless Cordless D-Handle Jig Saw combines power, blade speed and precision, to provide the highest quality cuts in a wide variety of materials. The M18 FUEL D-Handle Jig saw leverages the POWERSTATE Brushless Motor and REDLINK PLUS Intelligence to provide higher blade speed than corded jig saws at 3500 strokes per minute for clean controlled cuts with minimized chipping or bucking. Leveraging the M18 REDLITHIUM XC 5.0 Ah battery the M18 FUEL D-Handle Jig Saw provides up to 105 lin. ft. of cutting in laminated particle board, delivering all day productivity with less trips to the charger. The saw features tool-less blade change, tool free bevel adjust with detents at 0°, 15°, 30° and 45° as well as an LED light and on/off blower to keep the cut line visible while cutting. Includes A Free M18 XC Extended Capacity Battery Pack 5.0 Ah (48-11-1850).

Only made a few cuts so far, but it is nice and heavy and cuts pretty true out of box. Vision is real tight around the blade which makes you have to lean out to view your blade and cut line – minor, just little more difficult than my 20+ yr. old Bosch barrel grip ( gold standard as far as im concerned)

All of the features I was looking for in a jigsaw. I went back and forth between this saw and several corded Bosch versions. The only thing that kept me looking elsewhere was the price. Ultimately I decided that the pros outweighed the price. The dust blower and extraction, LED, the tool free table adjustment and blade replacement, and of course the cordless capability all brought me back to this saw. Throw in the fact that I got this as part of the black friday deal and I also got two 4.0 XC batteries and another charger, it was too good to pass up. This saw cuts let me a dream, the speed control is tight, and the saw just feels good in the hand. If you’re in the market for a D-Handle and you’re already in the Milwaukee system then you’ve got to give this one a good look.
