The M18 Brushless Cordless FUEL D-Handle Jig Saw combines power, blade speed and precision, to provide the highest quality cuts in a wide variety of materials. The M18 FUEL D-Handle Jig saw leverages the POWERSTATE Brushless Motor and REDLINK PLUS Intelligence to provide higher blade speed than corded jig saws at 3500 strokes per minute for clean controlled cuts with minimized chipping or bucking. Leveraging the M18 REDLITHIUM XC5.0 battery the M18 FUEL D-Handle Jig Saw provides up to 105 lin. ft. of cutting in laminated particle board, delivering all day productivity with less trips to the charger. The saw features tool-less blade change, tool free bevel adjust with detents at 0; 15; 30; and 45 as well as an LED light and on/off blower to keep the cut line visible while cutting. Includes A Free M18 FUEL 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver (2853-20).

This is my 3rd Milwaukee same model. The 1st two have had issues with the chuck not holding the bits. Also the impact will also stall for no reason while driving lags, or self tappers. I’m hoping the 3rd is a charm. The old impacts never had these issues!

I was putting in a composite deck and needed the impact drill. Did the research, bought the Milwaukee to also take advantage of the batteries I have and it did the job well. It has plenty of power and would easily strip screws if you are not careful. I used setting one for putting in joists and pressure treated lumber blocking. I have not needed setting 2 or 3 yet and this drill was rock solid and fits into places my Milwaukee drill could not. No regrets.
