The M18 FUEL 7 in. Variable Speed Polisher is the world’s first cordless full-size rotary polisher. By harnessing the power, performance and run-time of M18 FUEL technology, this tool delivers corded performance that allows users to power through the most demanding applications. At more than 1 lbs. lighter than corded, and the ability to deliver total control through a variable speed dial and trigger, the new M18 FUEL Polisher frees users from the extra work, distractions, paint damage, and inconvenience caused by cords. Paired with M18 XC 5.0 batteries, the M18 FUEL Polisher can complete a full size car on 1-charge when working on moderate to good paint. The M18 FUEL Polisher is equipped with a rubber over mold front housing to protect the paint from scratches in use as well as a removable dust cover to protect the motor and electronics from wool fibers and residue. The new tool is designed to distribute more of its weight over the pad, providing natural pressure on the surface area and more.

This tool definitely met all expectations. It performs well, it is light, powerful, and versatile. The option of the side handle allows you to be able to easily maneuver around things like your truck mirrors without bumping into them.

I am not a professional detailer and was told that I should avoid rotary polishers and simply stick with a dual action. Didn’t take that advise and went with the Milwaukee Fuel. After washing and claying I was able to take out 2 semi deep scratches where they are not noticeable anymore. I really like not having a cord. Battery was good too. Did a polish and wax with one charge though I waxed by hand in the more narrow spots.

I purchased Milwaukees cordless 7″ polisher to buff a car that we had painted at the shop. Its great not having a cord hanging around your neck all day. The other 3 employees all thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. One of the best tool purchases

I am a professional marine detailer and gel coat restorer. I like the convenience of not having to manage power cords around docks and water. For my applications, I use the M18 9.0 batteries because of the large size of the luxury boats that I compound to remove all degrees of oxidation. I love the performance of the tool and that fact that it doesn’t heat up like my corded rotary buffers. I was a little concern at first that the maximum rpm is 2200 but it has proven to be highly efficient in removing material. Invest in a good wool buffing pad and the proper compound for the job you plan to do. It is the combination of the buffer, pad and compound that makes any job great.

I originally bought this to use on my boat! Now I use it on everything! I’ve used it now on Cars, jetski, enclosed trailers, even cast iron kitchen sinksBattery life is amazing ,best polisher I’ve ever bought

Nice not dragging a cord around but it has a really high pitch whine to it. Trigger seems a little touchy between 1200 and 1600 RPM.

Light weight lasts the whole car polish does a precise jog

Polishing cordless is worth it. I have 3 9.0 batteries. They last about an hour each. But with the rapid charger a dead battery is charged by the time I drain another. Absolutely awesome!

It is a great tool to have since I have table and counter tops and they need to be polished ones a week

love it . its portable/ needs a packout case , but i use it for lots of things/not just to polish the trucks and cars at home , i also use it to polish the sky lights on our excavators so when looking up we see wires and branches, excellent product.

I bought this specifically for the boat. Every springtime it’s a full process of busting out the Presta or Meguires cutting cream and buffing out the oxidation and then following up after with the Presta ultra polishing cream or Meguires High Gloss polish. It’s a lengthy PITA process with cord and plug. No more taping cord ends together, no worries about snagging the cord with the buffer. I’ll never have to hold the tool cord just right because it has a short in it.I’ve been very happy with it, HOWEVER….it will go through 5.0 batteries like candy. I went through 8 full charged batteries for 1 side alone. Don’t think your going to get by on just a battery or two. I’d recommend this tool only unless you have quite a few batteries and chargers on hand to keep going. I like the variable speed, it handles well. Only concern is the trigger at times feels cheap/weak in engaging, like it catches an edge. I know Milwaukee has my back on this so I’m not too concerned.I kicked the idea of getting the M12 polisher as well, but my M12 drill works just fine for those tight spots. If you got a boat, and have batteries..excellent. You won’t be disappointed. Cheers

This buffer works great in a body shop for average production work. The batteries that come with it charge quick enough to keep up with spot buffing, and being able to move through the shop and even outside without a cord is a really nice. However if you are doing a lot of complete panel or car buffing the batteries won’t keep up. I might purchase the larger batteries and see how they work.

I actually bought the kit and absolutely love the polisher and all the pads!! It makes polishing my vehicles almost enjoyable. The run time with the included 5ah batteries is very decent, it takes both batteries to do a complete polish on my truck. I definitely recommend this tool to everyone, its every bit well made, and high quality!!

I really like the variable speed control and no wires to get tangled up in. Battery life is excellent and I use the 6Ah battery. 7 inch pads means faster finishing time then the 5 inch I was using. Very happy with purchase.

Amazing product. Eats up batteries pretty quick and replacement pads are pretty hard to come by if you want the Milwaukee brand. It’s easier to go with competitors brand like 3M or nortons. If you have a full size truck you better have at least 3 5.0 batteries and start charging as soon as they die. I love the cordless polisher and how adjustable it is, and they different handles offered with it.

I use this product to buff out imperfections on epoxy tables. Works absolutely positively for the application, more than enough power and we’ll balanced in your hand. GREAT PRODUCT!!!
