The M18 FUEL 7 in. Variable Speed Polisher is the world’s first cordless full-size rotary polisher. By harnessing the power, performance and run-time of M18 FUEL technology, this tool delivers corded performance that allows users to power through the most demanding applications. At more than 1 lbs. lighter than corded, and the ability to deliver total control through a variable speed dial and trigger, the new M18 FUEL Polisher frees users from the extra work, distractions, paint damage, and inconvenience caused by cords. Paired with M18 XC 5.0 batteries, the M18 FUEL Polisher can complete a full size car on 1-charge when working on moderate to good paint. The M18 FUEL Polisher is equipped with a rubber over mold front housing to protect the paint from scratches in use as well as a removable dust cover to protect the motor and electronics from wool fibers and residue. The new tool is designed to distribute more of its weight over the pad, providing natural pressure on the surface area and more.

First tool was DOA and poured smoke out of it the first time I used it. Replacement works great though.

My brother purchased this tool a couple years back and was very happy with it. I had the chance to use it and eventually had to have one for myself. The Tool delivers like my many other Milwaukee battery tools. Nice addition to the collection

This product works excellently. I’ve only used it with the Milwaukee branded Foam polishing/compounding and foam waxing/Finishing pads but i’m sure others will likely work with it. The adjustable speed is great, almost wish there was a setting lower than 800 rpm as it does spray everywhere. So if you intend to use it probably better to do so outside unless you prep the garage for tons of over spray as it will be a mess to clean up. However it does do an amazing job on the vehicle. Would definitely recommend the product to others, only reason i took the leap to it versus cheaper products is (NO CORD) to worry about also their battery packs work with all their products which is great.

Wet sanding and buffing out scratches on painted cars. All day everyday, a heavy buff can make a lot of discomfort in your body.

This is a great buffer. Much lighter that my old electric and plenty of power and speed adjustments.

Excellent performance! Larger batteries work best for extended work times. I used 8.0 and 9.0 along with a fast charger and was able to work all day polishing aluminum on a semi.

lot’s of torque, pretty good battery life (20-30minutes). light enough, but gets heavy with arms above/extended

I buff cars using white foam pad grey then blue pad. It seems when buffing battery doesnt last long at all. So ordered a 9 amp battery hopefully it will last longer. Besides that its a good buffer

Best thing out there for a full 7″ polisher, and wait theres, more No more cords to untangle and or worry about unplugging on you. Plus, its pretty darn light. My go to polisher every time at the shop when something needs to be cut and polished.

This is a great tool the only downside is the battery you must have 2 batteries to detail a car I bought the 8.0 battery but for a polisher its top of the line no complaints

I was kinda iffy on buying this as I’m fairly new to detailing. As the saying goes, orbitals are for noobs… I learned on this rotary. I burned paint once, lesson learned on edges! The only advice I can give on using this machine is to ALWAYS keep moving and keep the speed low to get a feel for it. It works well at low speed even for polishing scratches out. Also, tape your edges. Don’t forget that! Regarding the polisher itself, it’s plenty powerful with the new HO packs. I use the chemical guys 5.5″ -6″ backing pad and pads. No issues thus far. Love the ergonomics and power. The price is a bit steep .
