I got the M18 Fuel 12″ Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw to replace a shop saw and be able to take it and set it up in my shop trailer for remote work. Using a 12.0 High Output Battery, I have yet to discharge more than half the battery in a single day cutting dozens of 2x4s and 2x6s. This saw operates like a corded saw without the cord. It never hesitated or slowed during any cut.The shadow line is an excellent replacement to a laser line since I never have to worry if the laser is in alignment or not. It’s a little hard to see in really bright sunshine, but it doesn’t slow me down since I just have to bring the blade closer to the material.Blade change out is easy and the little features on the saw go unnoticed until you use them such as the 22.5 & 33.9 integrated bevel stops. The saw is not that heavy to carry around. It is solid and is not light as a feather, but it’s nowhere near as heavy/bulky as any of the corded miter saws I have owned. It has integrated handles if you are going to be moving it around a lot. You can also opt to not use them and slide this baby into your miter saw bench in your shop. There is also a carry handle on top of the saw that I have not seen in other saws.Using the dust collection bag worked far better than I would have thought. Hooking a vacuum up to it is easy, as well. There is a safety switch on the handle that you have slide/flip that is a little awkward at first when you aren’t used to it being there, but it didn’t take long for my hand to being able to reach in and flip & grip pretty smoothly. There are no disappointments with this saw. From building furniture to framing walls, this saw has been great to use. I really enjoy using it over all other top-brand miter saws I have owned

Just unboxed this beast. Amazingly lighter than my 17 year old corded Dewalt miter saw without the battery. Unfortunately it was too big for the newly purchased Bora Miter Saw cube table storage unit. No matter how hard I tried it just would’nt fit. So i swapped with the 17 year old fold up portable miter saw stand. Perfect fit with some minor adjustments. Assembled the remaining hardware, installed 12” blade (really tight fit), put the massive battery on and cranked it up. Very super bright LED light popped on and tested the compound slide – smooth and exceptionally easy. Almost too easy. Like very much that i can lock and track its whereabouts and battery status. Quality quality quality!

I have to give Milwaukee 5 stars, but almost gave 4 stars because I had to use my own extended allen wrench to loosen the bolt to put in the blade which was extremely tight and difficult. I have the stand for this saw too, and would like to have the balance of carrying it with 2 people be better as well. It tilts forward slightly when carrying it. I would also like the stand to have handles to carry unit as well as it is awkward to carry while assembled. Other than that it is great.

Another Awesome Product from Milwaukee!!!! Having so many options of tools with 18volt makes it even more appealing not having to purchase different batteries for different voltage. The longevity of the batteries are great! Milwaukee & Home Depot Please keep setting the standard for others to follow!

Assembly instructions and assembly design could be better.I wish you could extend the stop plate on at least one of the arms to make consistently sized cuts.I wish it had some handles to carry assembled unit instead of only when broken down. I have to give Milwaukee 5 stars anyway.

Definitely Recommend this one. Finally ditched my 10 inch, Corded Craftsman for this. No regrets. Shipping was Fast, Set up was simple and quick. Been cutting deck boards and even base trim. Absolutely no issues. Eats 2×12’s right up. I’ll never go back to corded saws

I have a Milwaukee 10 inch compound miter saw , it was a little difficult to attach but it went on . I was a little disappointed in the arms , they sag quite a bit when extended but it’s ok . For the price I was disappointed , i expected more from a Milwaukee product . Still my favorite tools though . Other than that I’m satisfied, thank you for asking my opinion

So far it is a very good saw. I have many Milwaukee tools and many High Output 12 hour batteries. This saw can do everything i need it to do for many jobs i do as a contractor. Highly recommend.
