The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 12 in. Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw with ONE-KEY Kit generates the power of 15 Amp corded saws and is designed for the professional carpenter, remodeler and general contractor. The miter saw is up to 15% lighter than competitor saws and delivers up to 330 cuts per charge. It has the same capacity as corded a 12 in. miter saw, giving users the ability to perform all of their critical applications while increasing their portability, efficiency and productivity on the jobsite. The cordless miter saw features the Milwaukee POWERSTATE Brushless Motor, REDLINK Tool Technology and is powered by M18 REDLITHIUM batteries. The saw has a Shadow Cut Line LED light, an adjustable stainless steel detent plate, cam locking miter system and easy carry side handles, making it a leading miter saw solution. In addition to the saw, this kit includes one M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT HD12.0 battery, an M18 and M12 Rapid Charger, handles and clamp. Milwaukee 48-08-0551 is designed for increased portability and jobsite durability. With aluminum main beam construction, the Milwaukee Folding Miter Saw Stand weighs in at only 31 lbs. Steel legs and support extensions are designed from maximum strength and rigidness to support even the heaviest work pieces. An included carrying strap makes moving the stand on and off the site easy and allows you to transport other items at the same time, increasing productivity.

I didn’t know what to expect, but when I finally got it, I was surprised! It’s the real deal. I feel official. For a non mechanical piece of equipment Milwaukee did its thing. Nothing but quality. Now I can get off the ground and make some real cuts. Trust me when I say this stand is heavy duty and all quality. It’s pricey, but it should outlast several miter saws.

I love this saw and battery life is not an issue. I have the whole M18 ensemble so just switch out a battery and then charge the other one. Mine needed some tweaking with squareness so definitely spend some time upfront to do this but after that and with a good blade cuts like butter.

Assembly instructions and assembly design could be better.I wish you could extend the stop plate on at least one of the arms to make consistently sized cuts.I wish it had some handles to carry assembled unit instead of only when broken down. I have to give Milwaukee 5 stars anyway.

Just got my saw today and I am very happy with it. Its literally a bigger version of 7 1/4 inch miter saw, so if you like that one you will like this one too. I Was a little worried it wouldnt have enough power since the guy at the release event stalled one, but the power didnt dissapoint, it feels more powerful than my older corded dewalt saw. The only thing I dont like about it is the bevel stops system, but oh well… it is what it is , not a deal breaker for me. Overall a good tool.

i Have the saw on the stand with a permanent 2.5 fuel vacuum attached on a custom skate. Ive equipped the saw with 2 12Ah M18 Batteries and the vacuum with 2 8Ah M18 Batteries. Its a clean, efficient set up that exceeds the mobility of a plug in unit and lasts all day. The saw itself is an incredibly accurate, detailed tool. I recommend not only the tool on its own, but the set up that I have created.

Needed fine adjustments, on the 45 miters, cut ok. Whit a good Whit a makita blade, is a little rough on the slides, caind of bumps, I wished was a bit smoother.

Floats like a butterfly…… Really impressed with this unit. Out of the box the miter and bevel were spot on and the power is almost excessive. Purchased to install 7 in crown and the led lighting line is flawless on the left side of the blade and a little bit dimmer on the right.
