I found no performance difference from using a pneumatic crown stapler. The plus side is that you are not connected to an air hose and compressor.

The Milwaukee stapler is handy for many jobs where you may have typically used the pneumatic type in the past. It is easy to prepare for the quick jobs that you need to take care of. The battery will last hours to provide fastening for the extended projects too. The magazine is very easy to load. Just turn the tool upside down and squeeze the locking clamp. The tool requires minimal adjustments when moving from ½ to 1-½ inch fasteners. The driving depth is adjusted quickly with a few strokes of the wheel located near the tip. The tool is so quiet you can use indoors without disturbing others. It just sounds like someone used a fly swatter. A LED located on the front of the battery slide provides illumination around the tip for working in those dimly lit areas. The tool is well balanced and can be set standing up on the battery or laid on its side. Rubber bumpers on the sides keep it from sliding off or marking surfaces. There is a metal loop hook for hanging but I’m not sure it is meant to use on your belt. The tool stops firing when there are still 6 staples in the magazine. One thing that I did to provide pin-point accuracy is to mark the fastener slot with a paint pen. The tip bumper has a line for the center of where the staple exits but I added a mark on the side so you can place it in slots or locate with increased positioning accuracy.

Absolutely awesome tool. Drove the 1″ crowns into OSB easily. There were a few that maybe 1/32 above surface, but that was when I got quick with the tool and may not have pey enough pressure on the safety. Good buy.
