The Milwaukee Narrow Crown Stapler is very impressive! It definitely lives up to the Milwaukee name! It comes with an oversized contractor’s bag, a multi-voltage (M12 and M18) charger and an M18 2.0 Ah battery. It is extremely convenient to not drag around a compressor and hose. The stapler is lightweight and easy to handle and has a reversible belt clip. It uses 18 gauge 1/4″ wide crown staples up to 1 1/2″ long. I tested it with Dewalt 7/8” and 1 1/4” staples with various wood products and it worked extremely well. Once the depth adjustment was set it would drive the staples completely into the wood no matter the hardness without over-driving. The power switch has a mode setting that either selects a single sequential actuation or a contact bump actuation according the project requirements. I have not used this staple gun long enough to know how long the battery will last but the battery indicator did not change during my tests. Although the stapler is manufactured in China, I would still definitely order it again!

This is the best stapler on the market by far.It is light -easy to use-easy to adjust and has been dependable day in and day out. It even worked after my coworker unintentionally ran over it with the company worktruck-3/4 ton Diesel and tool trailer.

I have been driving 1¼” staples with this and it is a joy. This sinks them at a consistent depth. What I reall love is the setup time. Just grab a battery and go. No ramp up, no wrestling with a cord, and it is quieter than an air tool.

Works great. Have batteries for other tools. Just wish there was a hard case. Haven’t had a chance to use it much yet but it is head and shoulders above the Porter cable I had. It is quite heavy thoughLove it so far.

I’m a homeowner/DIY’er not a professional skilled trades worker, so this review is from the DIY’er standpoint. The model # 2749-21CT comes as a kit; one 2ah M18 battery, a dual M18/12 charger, a contractor’s bag, bag shoulder strap, and the stapler are included so all you’ll need to get going on your project will be staples – and possibly a spare battery. I’ve not run the battery completely down on a job yet, so I don’t know how many staples it can go through in a charge but I really would recommend getting a spare battery. I hate having to stop a project in order to wait for a battery to charge. The included battery comes with a minimal charge so you’ll need to charge it up before you can get to work.Fit and finish of the stapler is excellent, and balance is very good. I wouldn’t call it “light weight” but it’s not bad to handle and it has the advantage over pneumatics in that there’s no hose to drag around. There’s a built in LED lamp that helps light up the targeted work area, very nice when working in corners. A spare tip (see photo) is included with the stapler and mounts to the tool so it’s handy when needed. Also included is a reversible belt clip (see photo) – this is a feature that I never use and it can be taken completely off of the tool if it’s not needed.Milwaukee claims “zero ramp up time” and they got that part right. Fire one staple and the brushless motor is ready to go immediately onto the next. There’s a depth control wheel (see photo) – you’ll want to try a test staple on the material and then adjust the staple force to get a surface or sub-surface fit. I tried the stapler on some soft shoe molding and I found that I could adjust the force easily so that the staple didn’t ‘blow through’ the wood. If you’ve not used a power stapler before it may take you a little practice on scrap material before you get the hang of exactly where the staple is going to go – but once you’ve got it figured out this new Milwaukee helps make quick work out of projects. There’s a ‘bump and run’ mode switch (see photo) that allows you to simply push the stapler against the work and it will fire staple after staple after staple – and that’s where the zero ramp up time really shines. Putting new vinyl on a boat cushion couldn’t be easier once you have the proper staple depth set. If you get carried away and go through the entire load of staples (the stapler can hold over 100) there’s a dry-fire lockout that prevents accidental tool damage. The included contractor’s bag is a standard Milwaukee bag, good stitching and a strong zipper. I prefer hard cases over bags these days – bags take up less room but hard cases make for less damage to the tool when it’s tossed in the back of the 4×4. Not a downstroke on the stapler – many folks prefer the bag.The stapler works as advertised and comes with a 5-year warranty, and the battery carries a 3-year warranty. Home Depot offers their standard 90 day return policy as well.HTHRegards,Jim

This nailer is an awesome tool, the battery last for a very long time. No difference between the air tool versus battery. Great job Milwaukee
