I under estimated this tool, at first I did not think it would be fully capable of what it stated. The sleek design made it easy to hold through the duration of using it and the slight hum of the motor was no where near as noisey as I had thought it would be. The power was enough to help remove some bolts from a temporary door we had placed up and enough to help install the new lag bolts for the new door. Our sockets easily attached on to the wrench and easily detached when necessary. The battery terminal accepted both styles of batteries I already had with my Milwaukee set and allowed me to add on to my tool set.

I’ve been using my impact for about a month or so and have been blown away by it’s performance. Today, I removed and replaced all the lug nuts on all four wheels of 10 vehicles. I used only one battery and it was only drained by half the power (as displayed on the battery itself). I’ve used the battery all the way down to 25% or less in the past, just to see how it performed, and it had no lag in speed or power. Honestly, I can not ask for a better tool for removing and reinstalling lug nuts on vehicles. I don’t use a pneumatic wrench, just a 4-way lug wrench and now the Fuel. My thoughts…..what’s a 4-way lug wrench? If I had to mention a down side it would be these 2 things, one of which has a simple solution. 1. It’s heavy. But, any gorilla worth it’s weight in muscle is gonna be pretty heavy, I would imagine. 2. It does not come with a rubber boot.

The wrench works great, is probably just as powerful as they say. I didn’t use it to take off lugnuts or anything really torqued down hard, I have my large 1100ftlb impact for that. It is nice and compact to fit into small spaces and make working on suspension or steering work easy. The reason why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is I didn’t realize the pin detent required a screwdriver to be used pushing the pin in every time you want to take a socket off. Save yourself the time and hassle, and get the same model with the friction ring detent instead. I returned this one for the friction ring and use the friction ring on my large impact, they work great and you can pull sockets off without using a second tool to do so.

Works Great. The only problem is, if you wanna call it that, is that the detent pin is very strong. I need a nail or punch to depress it. Like the adjustable torque settings. 5.0 batteries are strong last a good amount of time.

Love this drill made for pro’s ,went and bought the 2767-20 ,the big brother and the1/2 ratchet . I believe I won’t have to buy a new impact gun for a life long time.

This 1/2″ impact has plenty of power to remove lug nuts torqued 120 ft lbs, with ease. With the 4 mode drive control you can adjust the amount of power used,so youdon’t over tighten lug nuts, bolts, or lags that you may use it on.If you are looking for lighter duty impact, which fits into tighter spaces, that still packs a punch….your search is over!

I’d been looking at impact wrenches for a while. A little while back I bought a relatively cheap air driven 1/2″ impact wrench and the quality of it was disappointing to say the least. Not to mention dragging an air hose and compressor around can be a drag. So I started thinking cordless might be the way to go for me thus my search. I’ve had good experiences with Milwaukee tools so when I saw this one I decided it was indeed the way to go for me. I got the tool only here so I bought the battery and charger kit separately at the local HD getting the 5.0 battery for now. That seems to be plenty for my current needs but I’ll likely grab a high demand battery later. The tool is compact compared to my older porter cable stuff. The batteries are more compact in particular as shown in one of my pictures. In tight spaces I suppose this might help. It probably won’t make a big difference to me in most of my applications though. This tool has the pin instead of the ball and as a result it really holds the socket on the tool solidly. Of course the tradeoff is that it is harder to get off and I find I have to take a small screwdriver to push in the pin to remove the socket easily. But I don’t see that as an issue for me. I’d rather have the socket stay in place solidly than be easy to pop off. For my use it beats the heck out of pulling around an air hose. When I popped open the battery I got it had about 1/3 charge out of the box. I tossed it on the charger and went and fired up the grill and cooked myself a steak and wolfed it down. By the time I was done with this small detour it had a full charge so that seemed pretty quick to me.

I put up grain bins for a living and use all M18 power tools on the jobsite. The most used is the 1/2″ M18 impact. I started out with Dewalt and after a few disappointments went to Milwaukee. The Fuel is an unbelievable impact. I tighten over a million bolts a year and the impacts keep going. Often times I forget to switch out impacts and by the time I do, the impacts are so hot I cannot touch the metal encasing. I also have dropped a few from over 20 feet and they all kept running afterward. They may cost a little more but they are worth every penny. The only gripe is that when used constantly the belt clip screw tends to loosen and fall out. A little lock tight fixed the problem.

Milwaukee has not let me down yet. This is another great tool from them. I’ve not used a pneumatic impact wrench since getting this model. It seems to have more power. Certainly at least the same. This is a beast. It is really nice to not have to worry about air hoses dragging around. The other nice feature is to grab this to go for wheel changes in the field, where a compressor setup would be hard. For quite a while I’ve used a normal impact driver, such as from a drill/impact driver combo, with a socket adapter. It is so much easier with decent sized sockets using this wrench. Right tool for the right job. This certainly is the right tool. You won’t be disappointed.

Up to 220 FT. Lbs at up to 2,500 RPM with up to 3,200 IPM (Impacts Per Minute) at only 2.5 lbs with out battery. I did not include battery in weight because different battery types, standard, M2 & M4 are different weights.Totally brushless motor. There are 4 different mode settings for different bolt sizes including an AUTO STOP MODE where driver will shut down after 1 second of impact with no rotation preventing over driving bolts & nuts and damaging materials. ½ inch drive with pin detent. Feels great in the hand with good balance and HEY no hose or cord to tangle.

You expect a lot from a Milwaukee tool and this one doesn’t disappoint. This 1/2″ impact driver kit comes with two M18 batteries and a charger. It comes in a sturdy box which will keep the tool safe on the job site. I really like that you don’t only get the normal LED light, but also LEDs for the selected mode and even the remaining battery charge. The impact driver is more powerful than others that I had over the years. The driver also spins a little faster than most others which gets a project done a little quicker.Over all a great product!

I have been using this kind of light to medium duty and have been enjoying it quite a bit. The tool feels well balanced with any sized battery on it and has enough torque to get the job done. I really like the pin detent over the ring as it makes taking the sockets off quite a bit easier…they tend to stick with the ring version but sometimes you want that when working high off the ground to keep your sockets from flying off. It has the ability to select settings with 4-mode drive control to fit your task at hand and give a bit more control without over-torquing though I still check specifics with a torque wrench. It also has auto shut-off mode to monitor the tool in use and shut it off to prevent damage to the material. Also, the tool is protected with redlink intelligence to prevent damage to the tool and battery if it should begin to overheat. For the task I am using this for, I am thoroughly pleased to use this tool maintaining my fleet of lawn equipment and upkeep around the homestead. If you already have batteries out the wazoo, the tool only option with this tool is great to allow more affordability to have in your toolbox.
