The M18 FUEL 1/2 in. Compact Impact Wrench with Friction Ring is the Most Powerful tool in its class by delivering up to 220 ft./lbs. of torque in a compact design. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor not only provides unmatched power, but also provides greater efficiency, delivering up to 25% more run-time than the leading competitors. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. REDLITHIUM XC5.0(tm) Batteries deliver more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries on the market. The 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL provides greater control over output speed and power for greater versatility by delivering 0 RPM to 900 RPM in Mode 1, 0 RPM to 1600 RPM in Mode 2 and 0 RPM to 2500 RPM in Mode 3. Auto Shut-Off Mode intelligently detects when the tool has impacted on a fastener for 1-second and automatically shuts the tool down, reducing the likelihood of overdriving and damaging materials.

This impact is amazing! I just used it at work to remove 15/16″ head bolts that were rusted on a refigeration compressor. It took then loose like no bodies bussiness. Im really impressed!! I also used it to see if it would remove lug nuts on my service van. It took them off in nothing flat. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone looking for a very compact cordless impact with a lot of GUTS!!! Also the battery has a long use charge, I have been using this impact for about a month and have not needed to recharge it once!! And the kicker is it comes with 2 batteries! The price for this tool made me a little apprehensive as there are cheaper models out there, but am glad I chose the Millwaukee!! Very pleased!!!

Great for stubborn Fasteners with 220 ft. lbs. of torque.3 modes provide up to 2500 rpm.My air impact wrenches put out 500-900 ft.lbs and this unit is adequate for an 18V cordless power tool when away from a compressed air source or maximum mobility is desired.Brushless design reportedly is more energy/battery efficient and more maintenance-free than brushed motors.

Admittedly this isn’t the most used tool in my tool box but it is a very useful tool especially if your working with very tight or rusted nuts or bolts. The tool is of good compact size that makes it easy to use and fits into tighter areas. It has adjustable speeds for different needs. It fits well in the hand and is fairly light weight so not hard to hold on to. Would recommend this tool as it is of very good quality and a good tool to have in the tool box.

Lots of power easily pulls lug nuts on my car and 1/2 ton pickup may not be able to get the lug nuts on my one ton but I have yet to try it on that truck. When installing the lug nuts it easily tightens them to 100 lb/ft
