The M18 FUEL 1/2 in. Compact Impact Wrench with Friction Ring is the Most Powerful tool in its class by delivering up to 220 ft./lbs. of torque in a compact design. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor not only provides unmatched power, but also provides greater efficiency, delivering up to 25% more run-time than the leading competitors. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. REDLITHIUM XC5.0(tm) Batteries deliver more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries on the market. The 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL provides greater control over output speed and power for greater versatility by delivering 0 RPM to 900 RPM in Mode 1, 0 RPM to 1600 RPM in Mode 2 and 0 RPM to 2500 RPM in Mode 3. Auto Shut-Off Mode intelligently detects when the tool has impacted on a fastener for 1-second and automatically shuts the tool down, reducing the likelihood of overdriving and damaging materials.

I opened the case and thought no way can this have power. I grabbed a 15/16 socket walked over to a John Deere B that the rear wheels haven’t been off for over 40 years to get a feel for it’s power. A couple raps and the lug bolt was loose and out. What kind of a deal is this I thought so I tried another one same thing. After a year I still almost feel imbarassed when I use it thinking I’m a fool for even trying to get the bolt out but then there it is and that little thing is saying what’s next. Recommend it is the least of my problems I’d like to buy one for everybody I know. At Christmas they offered a tool for free so I chose the mettle cutting 61/2 in. saw. Well same story they compare favorably to fried pork chops and bone in ham.
