Milwaukee has hit a home run with this tool! Brushless DC motor delivers up to 220 ft-lbs. of torque in a compact tool design. Has 2 M18 batteries that really last! Batteries have a charge indicator on the front that is activated by pressing a small button next to the LED’s. The case is beautiful, very nicely constructed. Kits comes with a multi-voltage M18/M12 charger, good if you have tools with the M12 battery. Last weekend I had to drop the skid plate on my SUV and the bolts were a bit rusty. This tool handled them with ease. No more dragging air hoses around! I am just a DYI’er using this at home, but it would be great for professionals too!. The only issue is the pin detent makes putting sockets on a bit trickier than normal. Other than that a great tool!. Has Bluetooth so you can vary the 4 presets with you phone. I found the existing presets good for me. Wonderful item!

Milwaukee tools are consistently well built and this model 2759-22 is no exception. It comes with a hard plastic molded case, the impact wrench, two red lithium 18 volt batteries and a charger that supports M12 and M18 batteries. The motor on this tool is brushless which I believe should be the standard for all power tools. The tool has four speed settings (1-900 RPM, 2-1400 RPM, 3-1900 RPM and 4-2500 RPM) which are selectable with a button on the unit. As you press the button the corresponding setting number lights up in white. Unfortunately, this is impossible to see in sunlight. They should have chosen a different color. I tried to remove lug nuts on my car which are torqued to 150 ft/lbs. This wrench is rated at 220 ft/lbs so it should be able to loosen the lug nuts with no problem. Unfortunately, settings 1, 2 and 3 were unable to loosen the lug nuts. Setting 4 was finally able to loosen the lug nuts. The manual does not state the torque rating for each setting but based on the android app the torque is at maximum for all four settings. I also had problems with the pin detent. On most tools this is a ball bearing and easily pops in and out of the hole on the socket. On this tool the pin is a tapered cylinder and the shoulder of the cylinder sits above the surface of the ½ inch square drive. As I tried to slide my socket onto the tool it hit the cylinder pin and stopped. The only way to get the socket on was to wiggle it so it engaged the taper and forced the pin down. Once I was ready to remove the socket I could not get it off because of the same reason. The shoulder of the cylinder was engaging the hole on the socket and there was no contact with the taper to allow the pin to be pressed in. I had to stick something in the hole of the socket to push the pin in before the socket would come off. While this makes the socket very secure on the tool, it is extremely frustrating and a poor design choice in my opinion.The One-Key feature allows one to connect to the tool on Android or IOS via Bluetooth. The Android app for this tool allows one to customize each of the four setting modes on the tool. Customization includes RPM (0-2500), Torque (1-10), Work Light duration (0-30 seconds/always on), and Work Light brightness (Off, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%). You can also use the app to identify the tool which causes the setting lights on the tool to blink for a number of seconds. The app also lets one see details of the tool such as serial number, model number, purchase information, etc. which has been entered into the Milwaukee portal when registering the tool .

This M18 1/2 inch Cordless Impact Wrench by Milwaukee is one of their new tools with One Key technology. As stated, this product is only the tool. You will need to purchase a battery and charger separately or have them from a compatible kit of another tool. This impact wrench comes with a powerful brushless motor. It feels like a high quality tool just holding it in your hand. The One Key technology is what sets this tool apart from the competition. No other brand has anything remotely close to it at this time. To get up and running you have to download the iOS or Android app and created an account. You then enabled Bluetooth on the tool and your device. The app quickly finds the tool and identifies it. In the app you can enter purchase information for any given tool, job site information, tool inventory, etc. The app shows how long a tool has been in service, tool details, tool service status, last location, etc. Lastly there is tool customization. There are four available presets which you can select by pushing a button near the base. By using One Key, you can customize those four presets to whatever settings suit your needs. Speed, torque, ramp up, work light duration, and even work light brightness are just some of the settings you can change. I should point out that once the presets are customized and programmed, you no longer need your device to be present for the tool to operate.Milwaukee has done an excellent job melding a high quality tool with state of the art technology. Tools with One Key are meant to get a workout but for the price even someone doing an occasional job here or there (such as myself) will appreciate them.

The Fuel tools from Milwaukee are excellent tools for your home / business. The brushless motors are flawless and the batteries will last through many jobs before needing a recharge. This kit comes with 2 batteries, charger, tool and nice carrying case. The impact wrench itself is solid and feels sturdy with a good weight to it. Now, let’s get dow to it. This is the first time I have seen a bluetooth enabled tool. What exactly does the bluetooth do? Well it allows for a couple of things. One thing it does , is it will digitally track your tools into an inventory for you(which is great if you are running a contractor business). It will also allow you to flash a little light on each tool to identify it(pretty cool). Aside from this though, the best feature is you can set 4 different memory settings, each with different torque values ,etc. Then you save them to the tool and when you want to call them up, just press 1 of 4 buttons on the front of the tool. This is great if you have certain jobs that your need to change torque settings between(like for automobile wheels, etc). The app for doing this is available on both IOS and Android phones. And yes, you can still use the tool without the app. Overall, this is a nice tool to complete or add to your Milwaukee line. The bluetooth is an added touch.
