I use my surge in the HVAC install field. Works like a charm. Great power and torque. Much quieter than the normal M18 Fuel

I use it to attach fasteners to many different gages of metal. Works flawlessly!

I love how quiet this impacter is. It is nearly as fast a a normal driver. I feel there is more control esp when doing more precise work like installing cabinets.

This hydraulic driver is an absolute beast. It is ridiculously smooth and has an obscene amount of power. You can drive a 1 5/8 screw right through a 2×4 and not even feel it struggle. It is also extremely quite compared to an impact driver. I’ll never buy another impact driver again, this hydraulic driver is an absolute must have for anyone that uses an impact daily.

Very happy with the performance of my impact although my clip fell off under no stress and was lost

Love this drill. I’ve been using milwaukee for 15 yrs or so now. Love how much quieter is, especially when I’ve got my head in side a cabinet. Way easier on the ears. Alot less vibrations too. My only issue is that it didn’t last as long as most of my other milwaukee products. Previous drills i’ve gotten a good five yrs or so. Maybe I’ve just had good luck. But the surge I got just over two yrs and now i can watch water boil before it sinks a 3 inch screw. Had the same issue 4 months after I bought it. But it was under warranty, so it got fixed. So I’m not sure if this is a regular issue with the surge or what. But other than that its a great drill. Just wish that for the money of just the bare bones drill, it would last longer.

Hate the bit holder! This is the best drill that I have, but the one-bit bit holder forces me to remove a star. Milwaukee had a proven two-bit bit holder that worked, but decided to not to use it so I took the two-bit bit holder that I purchased almost nine years ago off of my old drill and put it on this one. This was an unforced error by Milwaukee. I need to switch between PH-2, PH-3 and a slotted bits regularly so I need a bit holder that can hold at least two bits. Why Milwaukee? Why?As for the drill itself, it is the same weight as the brushed drill, but much more powerful. The variable speed selector is nice. The #2 setting is what I use the majority of the time. The protective plastic shielding on the face is nice and is a nice improvement over the four thin plastic strips that were used on my old brushed drill.

Runs screws great. Not to heavy. It’s not the greatest for drilling holes but running screws its great.

Works great and battery lasts a long time

This impact drives in screws way faster than my old Milwaukee impact. And it is way more quiet with a smaller head unit so it fits in tighter spaces. I love this unit!

Beat impact driver and quiet

Best impact driver I have ever owned!

Make sure u know that this product doesn’t produce the same torque ft lbs are their true impact. This is a hydraulic impact and only produces 450 ft lbs of torque while the true impact produces over 2000

have not used this tool much yet, but it runs and feels a lot smoother than my previous impact drill. I hope get to put many miles on this tool..
