Never had an impact driver before, let alone a cordless one, but it’s now one of my favorite tools! I love how the Surge impact driver and hammer drill fit in my hand, and I love the quality of these tools. No more trying to manually screw in difficult screws, just get a good hold on the Surge impact driver and screw the screw in with the impact driver a part of a turn with each impact, love it. Only problem is that now I always spend more time in the Milwaukee section at Home Depot thinking about the next tool or accessory I can purchase. Love these tools!

I’ve used this impact driver for five months. It is quiet, easy to control and easy on batteries. I have used it to drive 4 inch x 5/16 inch lag screws into pressure treat without any problems. This is probably not the impact driver for loosening rusted lug nuts but for all my lumber fastening jobs it is perfect. The speeds are easy to control although I wish it had 1,000 1,500 and 2,000 rpm options instead of 1, 2, and 3,000 rpm speeds. I have driven probably 3,000 screws of varying sizes and lengths. It drives them quickly without stripping heads. It is nice to be able to carry on a conversation around the work site while using this driver. This quickly became my favorite tool. Highly recommended.

This tool kit is amazing. The two batteries will last you all day. The impact is quite. Handle is nice. The power of this compact tool is outrageous. Very convenient size to use around tight spots. I recommend this tool very much, if you are looking for a great product for your money. Its worth every dime you spend on it. Also it came with hard case that you can add a lock key.

When it comes to power tools, Milwaukee is the best and choice of contractors. Now I know why, the small premium you pay for a well made American product pays off several times over and the fact that they give 5 year warranties even to construction workers using and abusing these tools day in and day out, means a tool like this will let a lifetime. The surge is way quieter and while on paper has less torque, in reality it is a sustained torque and actually outperforms standard impact drills with torques that are several times larger. Great product and very happy with it, I got a free hammer drill with this package so we’ll worth it especially with the 5.0 Amp hour batteries.
