The 2766 M18 FUEL High Torque Impact Wrench with Pin Detent provides a full corded replacement delivering 750 ft./lbs. of fastening torque and 1100 ft./lbs. of nut-busting torque. The industry’s most compact cordless High Torque Impact wrench at 8.1 in. L, this tool allows for more access in tight spaces. 4-Mode drive control with Bolt Removal mode gives users the most control over their fasteners. Bolt Removal mode gives the user more control when removing fasteners by slowing to 750 RPM once the fastener has been busted loose. This tool includes a Pin Detent anvil which provides superior socket retention. A premium rubber over mold material gives you ultimate comfort during prolonged use while lasting longer against corrosive materials.

I am a diesel mechanic in the oilfield. All my Milwakee tools get a beating, but none more than my 1/2 inch M18. I have removed trailer tires on a Frac pump with this tool. I have drowned this tool in acid, and she keeps going. I will never own another cordless tool. Thanks Milwake!!! For making a remarkable tool for everyone to use.

I wish i could have had this 15 years ago. This is the type of tool that if you need it and you have you wonder what you ever did without it. This is not an exaggeration, I have pulled my air impact from my tool box and moved them to the basement to make more room. I’ve worked with the first gen version of this and had nothing but good things to say in my previous review. This latest version however is even more of a beast than the last version. This is hands down the best cordless impact on the market. Even if you bought into another tool system this is so much better than the competition that i would switch if i already didn’t have all Milwaukee cordless tools, Or at least buy this kit on its own.I’ve used this impact on major structural components in buildings systems to cranking lugnuts and suspension components of dump trucks. It has never failed me on a full charge. Make sure you have a backup battery ready to go for those really high torque situations. Casual Saturday mechanics working on the car with the 5.0 battery it will last all day. On the job with the really heavy duty stuff it will go through a couple pack. Every situation is different, you millage will vary.When you purchase this be sure and read the specifications that come with, lots of cool new features with the toque settings. In summary…if you use air impacts or have them. This will replace them in a heartbeat! Its mobile power at its best!!!

As an auto and heavy machine mobile mechanic I need something that doesn’t need to be hooked up to an air hose or plug in but also has the torque required to break loose the biggest bolts and nuts. I have the best impacts and sometimes I still need to use a large breaker bar to get the initial turn. Hundreds of jobs with this impact and my breaker bar is just sitting collecting dust in the truck. Great tool. Highly satisfied and recommend this to anybody that doesn’t settle for anything but the best.

This Milwaukee M18 1/2″ high torque impact wrench kit is a BEAST! It’s just amazing how much punch this thing has for such a small package! I had to take some rusted nuts off an old 1960’s farm tractor and this impact did it with ease. I had tried many different things to loosen them, but this tool was fantastic. Having this kind of power away from an AC outlet & an air tank is just wild! Milwaukee is doing a fabulous job of making tools designed for specific jobs & trades and all of them seem to be home runs like this tool. The kit come with two 5.0 batteries and a charger, I’ve never had an issue with running out of battery juice while the 1st battery was used up & charging & working with the 2nd battery. The first battery is always fully charged before the 2nd one dies. I really like the choices of power settings so you don’t break off bolts with using too much torque for the given job. One nice feature is the way the impact wrench slows down once the nut or bolt has broken free so there are no flying nuts or bolts to go chasing down, great idea! If you’re not familiar with the M18 batteries, they have a built in battery level meter right on the battery which is very handy, just push the button and the LED lights show you how much power you have left. I should mention that the full power is there right down to the last LED and does not fade as the old style batteries used to. I also love the LED light to help see things in a dark area. Overall this is a great kit to have in your tool box, not something you’ll use all day long (unless you’re an iron worker), but when ya need the big guns, ya got it!

I use this bad boy to take the wheels off my semi trucks and even when the tire guy over tightens them this beast just smacks them loose. Someone grabbed it decided to change his tire on a car with it and it broke off the stud like it was butter if you’re looking for a strong weapon against tight fasteners grab one
