The 2767 M18 FUEL high torque impact wrench with friction ring eliminates the need to use a pneumatic tool for those stubborn and rusted bolts by delivering 1,000 ft./lbs. of fastening torque and 1400 ft./lbs. of nut-busting torque. With 2X faster removal speed, users will be able to get the job done faster and be more productive throughout their day. By providing the industrys most compact cordless high torque impact wrench at 8.39 in. L, this tool allows for more access in tight spaces. 4-Mode drive control with bolt removal mode gives users the most control over their fasteners. Bolt Removal mode gives the user more control when removing fasteners by slowing to 750 RPM once the fastener has been busted loose. This tool offers quick, tool-free socket changes with a 1/2 in. friction ring anvil. A premium rubber over mold material gives you ultimate comfort during prolonged use while lasting longer against corrosive materials.

This thing has a lot of power, there isn’t a way around it. It has much more torque than anything that I have used it for, whether it be removing a bucket blade on a loader, or taking off the lugs on a loader. This is not the impact that you would want to use for rotating car tire lugs, however. It is pretty heavy because of the motor and the toughness of it, and it has so much power that if you are not careful, it can break your tire assembly. If you want one that would be great for taking off tires and rotating them, I would recommend the Milwaukee M12 stubby impact wrench or the new Milwaukee M18 compact impact wrench. This is a very powerful impact wrench, it should be able to do anything you throw at it, just don’t underestimate its power!

Wow, I don’t need to break out the air compressor anymore as this cordless M18 Fuel Impact not only handles lug nuts with ease, steering knuckles/wheel bearings using the OTC Hub Grappler or Astro Pneumatic Hub kit, lower ball joints, control arms bolts/nuts. So long air tools.

I do alot of mechanic work and own a construction company, this thing is stronger than corded tools somehow. Perfect for lugs, axle nuts or anything thats so rusted youre going to have to cut it off. I grab this before the angle grinder. On the 3 setting (granted youre using a big battery, 5Ah-12Ah) it will force a completly rusted bolt, the kind that mother nature has practically welded, off of what it was on. I have many Milwaukee tools and this one impresses me everytime i use it. If you dont work on vehicles or dont do structural building this is probably overkill and you will never use it to its full potential. If thats the case buy the M18 fuel 1/4” impact. Its tiny and extremely tuff as well.
