L, this tool allows for more access in tight spaces. 4-Mode drive control with bolt removal mode gives users the most control over their fasteners. Bolt Removal mode gives the user more control when removing fasteners by slowing to 750 RPM once the fastener has been busted loose. This tool offers quick, tool-free socket changes with a 1/2 in. friction ring anvil. The 2864 M18 FUEL with ONE-KEY High Torque 3/4 Impact Wrench with Friction Ring provides the Most Powerful, Most Compact and the Most Repeatable Impact Wrench in the industry. I got this for working on my cars. I’ve used air impact wrenches working at my Dad’s shop for years, my own garage for working on my old cars. I decided to jump into the electric side of the impact wrenches and got this.Project 1 – remove anode in a 50 gal water heater. This anode was in the heater for 10 years. Using this impact it took me less than 10 seconds to break it free and remove avoiding stress on the tank and piping. Very impressive. Anyone needing a heavy duty high torque impact this is the real deal. I’m probably going to give up on my air compressor options and just use this from now on. The only downside I can see with this tool is the weight with the battery, it’s just under 10 pounds so it can be a bear if you had a lot of nuts to break free. For the few times you need it for a job, it shouldn’t be too much trouble.Bottom line, power, options on the base for different torque speeds, it’s a winner in my book. Technology sure has come a long way.
