It delivers 1,000 ft-lbs of fastening torque and 1400 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque. With 2X faster removal speed, users will get the job done faster and be more productive throughout the day. It is the industry’s most compact cordless high torque impact wrench at 8.39” in length. This provides users more access to tight spaces. 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL™ with Bolt Removal mode gives users the most control over their fasteners. Bolt Removal mode also gives users more control when removing fasteners by slowing to 750rpm once the fastener has been busted loose. This tool offers quick, tool-free socket changes with a 1/2 in. friction ring anvil. In short: good tool, bad return policies.I owned one of these previously, but lost it in a fire. It was a great impact wrench. So I bought a replacement from HD, used a 10% discount code ($35 on this item) and payed an extra $9 for fast delivery. The tool suffered “infant mortality” after less than 5 minutes of use (and failing to remove a 300 ftlb nut, the only thing I tried it on before it died, so it was limping during those few minutes of life). Completely dead, no sign of life, even with a second known-good battery. Having it die immediately is annoying, but hey, these things happen, sometimes a product has a problem where it makes it through testing, but then dies almost immediately. So I returned it to HD planning to get a replacement. The problem is that they didn’t refund the premium shipping fee and the one-time-use discount code is now unusable so the replacement is going to cost me a total of $44 more than the original. This is ignoring the fact that I paid for fast shipping because I needed it fast…the job I bought it for is still sitting in the yard, unfinished because I don’t have a working impact wrench. So in conclusion, the tool is great (if it doesn’t just die in first few minutes) but HD may not be the best place to buy it due to their return policies.

This was purchased to use on lug nuts that are torqued to 150 ftlbs on my wifes truck. This drill worked flawlessly. OUTSTANDING. I had a high end Dewalt that I returned because it would not do those lug nuts. After doing a bit of research this was the product that many had recommended for my use. This by far exceeded my expectations.
