The first one I bought months ago did not work right, it kept stalling and smoking out of the box. I tried to “break” it in but no luck. No worries though Milwaukee has a great warranty. I paid nothing to send it back and I’m return got a brand new one sent to me. It works great! It is up to par with a corded grinder and nothing negative to say. Can be heavier though with a big 5amphr battery which you will need for medium or larger jobs.

very well balanced and stable. vibration is well regulated. even the noise level is lower compared to my corded ones. the guard can be rotated on the fly, very smart! only wish the big red could come up with a quick release mechanism like the oscillating tool. kinda expensive for what it is. but it is the big red. so suck it up and get used to it, I guess. no more cords to worry about, a major plus for a thing like this. nice!
