Previously owned the basic version of this tool. Upgraded to the Fuel version. Excellent grinder. I originally bought this grinder to use on various projects where I don’t always have access to electricity. It quickly became my go to grinder. I don’t even carry my corded grinder on the truck anymore as this M-18 version is more than up to the task.

Milwaukee makes great tools. I am a desiel heavy equipment field tech so portable tools are a must for me. The grinder i use for cutting off old bolts grinding them off i even have a wire wheel for those rusty bolts. I have impacts 1/2 and 3/8 ,ratchets, drills etc.

I would like to say since the purchase of my Milwaukee grinder, my work day has gotten a little easier.Being able cut pre assembled duct work quickly and more precisely than other methods. It is a tool I would recommend to others ,( so they stop borrowing mine) to have in there own gang box when needed.

Use this regularly to deburr the end of pvc pipe after I cut it. And occasionally so drill holes into stone. Wish it was adjustable speed.

This grinder is a beast and I doubt I’ll ever use my corded grinder again. I’ve only used it a few times but it surpassed my expectations. One big test for me was using a 5″ 40 grit flap wheel I sharpened blades on a Brown 72″ bush hog(still on tractor) with ease. Had a 5.0 battery and after getting both blades sharp it only drained the battery 1 bar. IMO the slide switch is the one to get vs the paddle trigger on a grinder. I find myself in some precarious situations with limited space/hard to reach and with the paddle trigger I’d never be able to keep it engaged.Overall this is a M18 product that I’m sorry I didn’t get much sooner. So bye bye Mr extension cord and hello Freedom!

Used it for grinding and cutting both light and heavy steel. You can really lay into steel with this grinder and it won’t stop or shut off. I’ve had a Makita and a dewalt. They were both junk. There is no comparison. It will eat through low amp hour batteries if your using it hard, but you can swap them out and keep going. I bought this because I burnt up my corded grinder and I glad I took the chance to try another cordless. Worked great for building my flatbed.
