This was my first battery powered grinder. Its a different animal from corded units. It is really torquey in the low end and dosen’t seem to spin up as fast. I like the torque but seem to chew up discs/wheels faster. I do like the tool but kinda need to relearn or get use to it. My only complaint is probably my own user error

Use mainly with Zip disks. Grinder is great the on off switch and lock can be annoying withe gloves on. A good old trigger with no lock would make the grinder more glove friendly.

It runs snooth, works a long time on my 9ah batteries. It may not be safe for me to use another grinder now because I’ve become used to letting off the paddle and immediately setting it down because it stops so fast! My favorite part though is the tooless disk fastening. It’s fast, easy, even with gloves, and hold my disks in place firmly. Buy it, you won’t regret it!

After using Makita 18 v for years and having to carry back up corded grinder to finish jobs where the Makita would just bog or overheat the battery, I am blown away by the power of the the Milwaukee. It’s pretty battery hungary, but paired up with High Output 12h M18 battery, no matter how much I put pressure and tried to bog it, it never stopped once ! Very impressed !
