Love using this tool, its very convenient and time saving, compare to a pneumatic die grinder you’ll have a loud compressor, hose and sometimes loss of tourqe due to cold environment and using this tool in the oilfields ( pumping units or pump jacks)is very handy and everybody’s go to tool when ever they need to cut, buff and burr stuff out. Only thing i would like to see in this tool would be a variable speed switch but besides that plenty of power and torque..

This thing is an animal, I use it on a regular basis as a field mechanic here at Mobile Equipment Repairs. We do a ton of fabrication jobs and this thing speeds up the process and is way more quite than a regular air die grinder but still has the power to get the job done.

Excellent product. It grind stuff really good. I am happy with the item. I am a milwaukee fan and DIY guy and I like stuff that gets the job done. This is what this grinder does. It gets the job done without electric cords.

It’s a decent tool for what it is 2 biggest flaws for me is #1 it needs variable speed sometimes you don’t need to give it the onion. The switch is loose and feels cheap. #2 and this is all Milwaukee tools. Go back to a stamped metal serial number plate. God forbid your tools get stolen like mine and 1 spray of brake clean and a rag and by by serial number. Other then that used Milwaukee for years love they’re tool line up, coming out with new useful stuff all the time. Will continue to buy red.

We used this to cut an opening through an I-line panel, a custom made box, and a transfer switch with minimal downtime. This was to make room for a new breaker and the large wires to go along with it. With it’s compact design we were able to get a cutting wheel into a 6” gap and cut from the inside out.We ground for an extended period of time, and with the 2 5Ah batteries that come in the kit, one was always be charged before the other was out of power.

I am a property manager for a high end custom building company, I am always on the go and my tools go with me. I am a huge fan of the M12 and M18 tool line, no time for plugging in my tools. The M18 Die grinder has been a great addition to my tool box, it’s just what I need when I have to do some quick grinding. I have the M12 version, this is an outstanding upgrade for lager grinding projects. Overall I love the tool, but I do wish it had a case so I could carry an extra battery and a selection of dies along with the tool. After borrowing mine, two of my guys have asked for their own.
