I am a contract welder and have a large supply of tools for just about every trade and many of them are Milwaukee. I appreciate a tool that works and in my entire selection of Milwaukee I only have one which I regret buying and that is the PVC Shear. This die grinder is easy to handle, lots of power easy on/off switch. The only frustrating fact is that there is no wrench storage in the body of the tool. I don’t like how easy it is to misplace the wrenches.

So far so good. This die grinder does exactly what it’s made for. Great for prepping the ID/OD of pipe using flappers and burr bits/rotary files.

I needed a tool that could reach hinge welds on my car. My pneumatic one was too short plus the air line. I searched for cordless and found this. Definite game changer.

It’s better then a air powered die grinder. One down fall is its on the large size

Powerful and long enough to keep a distance from what ever you are cutting grinding sanding etc If need to get into small spaces would recommend a smaller version of the die grinder. Hang on tight!

This is a great tool, has awesome power, the only down side is the lack of variable speed, if it had that id give it 5 stars but all and all very pleased

Mobile equipment technician, I use a die grinder almost a daily. Often I can’t get an air source anywhere near the job. This and other M18 tools have essentially replaced my air tools.

I purchase equipment for a Municipality and have purchased four of the Milwaukee die grinders. There rugged and have many uses for us. Their good for cutting in tight spaces and deburing metal pipes.

We use this tool on a regular basis. It performs equal to a corded tool without question. Milwaukee has hit another home run with this one!

We use these daily and couldn’t be more happy with their capability and performance. It will really eat metal with cutoff discs, sander discs, Rolec heads, or carbide burs. The lack of a variable speed is the only draw back, but hasn’t slowed us down. Our air use has dropped well below half after we put a couple of these and some cordless impacts in the shop.
