This is a well-balanced and relatively light-weight powerful tool. It appears tough enough to withstand a lot of abuse and being part of the M18 family of battery-powered cordless devices is a real plus. In comparison, I have a number of Bosch and Hitachi 18-volt tools and all my M18 tools work longer with Milwaukee batteries.At its high speed rotation, I have not seen much if any wobble – both with cutters and grinders used.On the down side, there is no variable speed feature, my only reason for giving the tool 4 instead of 5 stars.Bottom line: Just the use of M18 batteries (which are the best Lithium-Ion batteries in the industry as far as I’m concerned) makes this die grinder better than the competition.

I pull this tool out of my truck from time to time when needed for die grinding jobs. Sometimes with trepidation though. The bits are near impossible to get unstuck from the collet. It can be a real fight. I’ve tried some lube and will see if that helps, does most other applications. So far it’s been love hate
