This die grinder seems powerful & robust but in my opinion needs multiple speeds for different materials. I ended up going with the Dewalt 20V die grinder as it has variable speeds and soft start up. All of my other tools are Milwaukee except for my 20v Dewalt wet/dry vacuum.

Powerful and long enough to keep a distance from what ever you are cutting grinding sanding etc If need to get into small spaces would recommend a smaller version of the die grinder. Hang on tight!

This is not a toy! This thing is impressive. It’s like all Milwaukee tools, it’s built tough. Five year warranty on the tool. Three years on the two batteries. It comes with a charger and that familiar red carry case. It uses your standard 1/4″ bits. The switch locks on, which helps make the task more comfortable, but also more accurate. No brushes to worry with and replace with this one. It’s battery operated by those dependable Milwaukee batteries, so you can easily take it anywhere. This is an impressive tool and my son is so envious.

This is just an other tool in the M-18 series of CORDLESS tools. After using air powered die grinders for over 40 years it feels GREAT not to have drag out an air hose and deal with a small air compressor. The die grinder is a bit heavier than an air powered model, and is a lot longer as well.So if you do not do extremely close quarter work this machine is a GREAT addition to your M-18 collection.The only things I would like to have seen is a shaft locking button for a 1 wrench tool change. Also I would like if it came with the 9 AO battery for a longer work time.If you are like me I have the 9 AO batteries and you simply choose to use the right battery for the work planned, time versus a little more weight. The machine comes with 2 batteries and charger along with wrenches to change tools in a sturdy case.I would Highly recommend this cordless die grinder.
