The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 7 / 9 in. Large Angle Grinder is the world’s first 18-Volt LAG capable of delivering the power of a 15Amp corded LAG. It is up to 2 lb. lighter than other models and has a 9” grinding capacity. Its high performance, advanced ergonomics & legendary durability ensures this grinder can tackle the toughest grinding, surface preparation, and cutting applications with any 7 / 9 in. accessory. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor was purposely built for the M18 FUEL 7 / 9 in. Large Angle Grinder to provide the power and performance of a 15Amp corded large angle grinder. Built-in REDLINK PLUS Intelligence ensures optimal tool performance and provides overload protection to prevent damage to the tool and battery during heavy applications while still maintaining compatibility across the entire M18 System. The REDLITHIUM High Output HD12.0 Battery Pack provides 50% more power and runs 50% cooler versus standard REDLITHIUM HD packs. Superior pack construction provides the industry’s best protection against jobsite conditions. In addition to the grinder, this kit comes with two REDLITHIUM High Output HD12.0 battery packs (48-11-1812), one M18/M12 multi-voltage rapid charger (48-59-1808), one 9 in. T27 guard, one dust vent clip, one FIXTEC nut, one backing flange, one spanner wrench, one anti-vibration handle, and a durable contractor bag.

This is a nice size grinder using 7” and 9” wheels. It is lighter than my electric grinder and not having a cord is a huge plus. I carried it to the farm where I have no electricity to cut off a couple of bolts on an old disk. Worked well. Put a grinding wheel on and was able to grind/clean some angle iron to be welded. I have not ran the first battery down yet, the high output battery holds. It has done everything my same size electric grinder has. I will keep trying to run the battery down. I recommend it.

THERE’S NO QUESTION, THIS GRINDER IS SURELY TOP NOTCH QUALITY THAT IS WELL MADE FOR GRINDING WORK OR CUTTING BIG JOBS, BEING CORDLESS ALLOWS YOU TO TACKLE JOBS WHERE ELECTRIC IS NOT AVAILABLE. THE GRINDER CAN HANDLE 7 INCH OR 9 INCH CUTTING DISKS, DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF THE WORK TO BE DONE, THERE IS A LOT OF POWER FOR A CORDLESS GRINDER AND IS EASY TO HANDLE.

This thing is an absolute beast. Battery lasts around 40 minutes of continuous use. I would recommend a supercharger over the rapid charger for use with the 12.0 batteries though. It charges almost 3x faster.

I have never owned a Milwaukee tool however I am impressed with this tool since I do not have a grinder and use it for different jobs around the house. First all features of this tool stand out, how easy it is to use, how fast the battery gets charged and how powerful it is as a cordless. Second there is nothing that I dislike about this tool. Third I have had this tool about a month and enjoy again using it. I did not know what to expect however since the toll has come, it has exceeded all expectations plus I would recommend this tool to everyone and I would recommend Home Depot to everyone.

Works pretty good for the first generation of this specific grinder , the lock wheel is no good need to be replaced by a conventional one , guard need quite a trim before you can fully enjoy the tool , but the power is good it cuts like a corded 6 inch grinder doesnt slow down on you unless you really try to make it happen , overall i was pretty happy until someone stole it , why is this tool not one key i would really like to be able to locate it

The material is noticeably extra thick. The top diameter of the bag has a sewn-in metal support rod, so when you open it up, the shape automatically goes to, and retains the shape of the bag.This is really nice for removing the large grinder. The bag also has an included shoulder strap which simply clicks on the ends of the bag.Simply everything about this grinder is top drawer quality. With the included 5-year full warranty on the grinder, and a 3-year full battery warranty, you simply can’t go wrong with this kit.Extremely satisfied, and Highly Recommended.

This newer version of Red Lithium POWER 18v Grinder is great. The bigger power battery really gives it some distance. It can run forever. As the batteries are interchangeable with all other 18V’s, this grinder can run all day with rotating batteries to the charger. The easy changing disk is good. The special locknut is difficult with gloves on. The grinder is hefty enough to feel durable and not very heavy. Feels lighter than a corded one. The new intelligent battery manager is good. Did not notice any fault in power of speed. Milwaukee could improve the bag to carry all of the parts by having an internal pouch or pocket.

This is an industrial grade grinder kit. Out of the package, you are presented with a hefty piece of tool kit in this grinder. Quality is top notch and with very minor assembly of a few pieces, you are good to go for any large industrial grinding needs. The two 12.0AH batteries provide plenty of power and have gone all day long on the job site on a single charge. The included charge, tool and extra battery fit and store well in the included heavy canvas carry bag.
