Cut Off Saw runs on Milwaukee’s M18 REDLITHIUM batteries instead of using gas like most traditional cut off saws. This saw delivers the Power To Cut Reinforced Concrete as well as a large variety of other metal and masonry materials. It delivers this performance while still being Up To 50% Lighter Than Gas saws that dominate the market today. By utilizing Milwaukee’s M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT HD12.0 Battery, this saw delivers No Gas Headaches. It produces no fumes so it can be used indoors, it starts up instantly, it eliminates the need to mix gas and oil and there is no gas engine maintenance. M18 SWITCH TANK 4 Gal. Backpack Water Supply kit delivers the industry’s first interchangeable tank design with no manual pumping. Designed to meet user’s water supply needs for concrete cutting and coring, the battery-powered water supply delivers instant, constant and adjustable pressure up to 60 psi. The 5-mode pressure adjustment knob adjusts the pressure between 20 psi to 60 psi for ultimate control.

Cut Off Saw Kit W/ (2) 12.0Ah Batteries & Rapid Charger is a superbly-designed tool that has advantages over alternatives. It can be used for many applications. For me, cutting masonry was the initial application. The saw weighs only 15 lbs. with the diamond blade, battery, and the hose quick-connect. Changing a blade is the easiest I have seen. After setting the tool on a flat surface, on one side you use a hex wrench and on the other, a scrench. These tools are stored in the saw so there are ready when you need them. The gold ring bushing that comes with the diamond saw blade is not needed. The blade guard moves easily. The water feature is outstanding. It takes only a small amount of water. There is shutoff on the saw that works well so you can turn on the water when needed. There was basically no dust when using water. The Milwaukee water tank may be used when a hose is not available. The battery is housed in a closed compartment to protect it from cutting debris. I was impressed with how easy the saw was to use to cut concrete flagstones. It did take me a couple of cuts before I got the hang of using it. There was basically no clean up and I did not get wet from the water. This saw is so much nicer than using my circular saw with an abrasive blade which gave off considerable dust and discouraged me from constructing more interesting hardscaping. Most Milwaukee tools come with a carrying case or contractors bag. The cutoff saw does not but that really is not a problem. The cutoff saw has been fun to use so I am looking forward to my next project with it.

Got the whole kit because the 2,12.0 Ah batteries and we cut a lot. First this is this saw is way lighter than expected its easy to handle and the the set up time is almost none just grab it and start cutting. The only down fall NO CASE or bag, it don’t fit in the packout box so its just left out.

Saw performed great. I am a hardscaoer and used for cutting granite coping, porcelain, concrete pavers, rebar and mesh. It was nice having a quiet saw compared to my loud gas saw. Very lightweight. Water hookup worked great but doesn’t seem very durable.
