Built-in REDLINK PLUS Intelligence ensures optimal tool performance and provides overload protection to prevent damage to the tool and battery during heavy applications while still maintaining compatibility across the entire M18 system. The REDLITHIUM XC5.0 Battery Pack delivers more work per charger and more work over the life of the pack than competitors. In addition to the driver, this kit comes with this kit comes with a side handle, belt clip, and bit holder.

Instead of spending money on replacement batteries for my old drill, I decided to upgrade. Wow, I’m glad I did! The first time I used it I noticed a huge difference. While reaming out a hole on a steel plate for a piece of heavy equipment it took me for a ride! It was like using my old Milwaukee magnum hole shooter but in a better package (Smaller, lighter. cordless, and 2 speeds). My old drill was adequate for the price, but not in the same league as the Milwaukee. The chuck would have slipped around the 7/16″ bit I was using or It would have slowed and stopped. I was so impressed I bought 2 more M18 tools ( The new 3/8″ impact and an angle drill.

We use this product to do almost anything. Drive screws into wood and metal studs. Mix concrete mortar buckets. Etc. Etc. This product gets the job done and done well. We love the M18 line because there are so many different tools that all use the same battery.
