This drill is compact and extremely powerful. Soon as I bought it I put it to use drilling 16 straight holes into solid masonry. It never hesitated. It never stopped. I am certain if I needed more holes drilled, I could have done it. Before having this hammer drill, I used a standard drill/driver to drill hole into masonry. It would take forever. Not anymore. I am extremely happy with this M18 Fuel 1/2” Hammer drill and would consider it a great purchase for the tool kit for a beginner to expert.

I bought this drill as a kit with OneKey(2806-20). We also have a 2704-20. The drill is good but we’re not a fan of the electronic clutch instead of the mechanical clutch on the 2704. IMO I also think that all professional grade tools should come with OneKey for nothing more than theft deterrence. I don’t really limit the tools torque or any of the settings but I would like to be able to “brick” the tools should it go missing. This should be a default feature of professional grade tools.

I just bought this drill not too long ago, sure I’m not a contractor and probably could’ve gone with a much cheaper hammer/driver but I wanted to treat myself to something nice. I just got into the Milwaukee line so I figured it would work out and this guy did not disappoint. Used it to drill through brick and concrete and it chewed through it like nobody’s business!! The bit wasn’t a top quality one but the drill just punched through it like nothing! I read some of the complaints and honestly I can’t see any reason to complain so far. It works better than any chorded drill I’ve used.
