Love this drill. Only criticism would be that the chuck does not clamp down well on very small bits, 1/16 and smaller, that well. Other than that I am extremely satisfied with this tool. So much torque! Exactly what i expect from Milwaukee. Brushless truly is vastly more powerful than the other Milwaukee drills with brush Morris. I plan on replacing my impact driver with a brushless as well.

Hammer drill is great can take anywhere and doesn’t need cord- great if you only need to drill a couple holes in different areas- don’t need to drag cord around everywhere and great for drilling all day as well

I’ve owned a Milwaukee products for over 15 years and when they are anywhere from a year or less for purchase work as the best 18 V drill in the industry in my opinion. I’ve been doing electrical work for over 20 years and have previously owned drills from other manufactures that dont provide power needed to drill throught thick wood, brick, stone, metal. The Milwaukee M 18 is superior and provides more than enough power. If you were just purchasing a Milwaukee 18 V drill you have to be careful because the torque is very powerful and can actually injure your arm if you are not in a proper stance to correct any slippage from the drill bit or if the bit catches on a knot, nail, ect. The only problem is I experience with this product is the trigger mechanism can get caught in between forward and reverse and cause a drill to stop drilling and the clutch will slip. Also after a year and a half of heavy usage the gears slip and causes the drill to mot ioerate until you manually turn it to high gear (2). This usally happena when i try using the deill in low gear(1). It will cause the button that switches from 1st to 2nd to move into the halfway position rendering it in operable until you manually switch it back to second gear. Not sure if this is due to heavy usage, improper uses by an apprentice, or just manufacture defect. I’m sure it’s a minor issue to repair but is somewhat disappointing. Other than that the quality of the drill is top notch and head of his class. I would recommend it anytime over rigid, Dewalt, or any of its competitors

This drill is awesome, extremely powerful first use was with a 3 1/2” hole saw and when it grabbed it caught me by surprise how powerful it is. Great quality product. Only complaint would be the handle gets pretty warm during very heavy use but that’s not a big deal it’s not like it burn or anything.
