I really like this drill. I can use it as a hammer drill or as a drill/driver. As a hammer drill, it has already bored 20 holes for me in concrete ranging from 10 to 60 years old. I’m in an older house (1952) and some of the original slabs are still in place. It has just as much power as my corded hammer drill but at a much lower weight. The battery life really surprised me. Those 5 AH batteries really last a long time. I got a lot of holes done on just one battery. Since it came with 2 batteries, I was able to swap out batteries so I always had a charged battery ready. The M18 battery is much better to work with than the M12. The M12 has “Ears” to depress for the battery to release. They can be very difficult to press on some of the tools. The M18’s battery slides in easily and removes just as easily.The case is fantastic. Hard case with molded holes for storing everything that comes with it as well as some other items I put there. I did use it as a drill/driver and it worked well but it seems that it’s not designed for that purpose due to it’s weight and bulk. The construction seems to be very solid and I’m expecting a long life out of it. The operation is simple and the battery life indicator is really handy. The only negative is the size and weight if you’re using it as a drill driver.Overall, a big thumbs up. You will be happy with a purchase of this drill. My phone is broken so I can’t post any of the photos I took. Videos didn’t come out well anyway

I use the 1/2” M18 Hammer Drill everyday. It is an essential tool in the tool box. I really enjoy the One Key option with this drill. It allows me to customize the speed and torque of the drill and save the changes in the app. This becomes very beneficial when drilling and tapping fasteners for mounting electrical components. This is by far my favorite drill I have ever owned.

Milwaukee is one of the best, hands down! I had a normal drill but needed to get through concrete and this did the trick. I love how it all interchanges with batteries, etc. Will continue to buy Milwaukee as much as possible. The case is sturdy and it comes ready to go! I wish there was some way Home Depot would bring back the actual Milwaukee tool chest to hold my tools.

Power and compact size make this 1/2” Brushless Hammer Drill king of the mountain so far. I deducted a star because I would have liked to have seen a longer handle. This drill generates so much torque that added length to the handle would have been great for leverage. Other than that, like all tools from the FUEL line, you won’t be disappointed with what this drill can do.
