I would buy this product again and again? I wouldn’t have to. I would use my old one that was still working just fine, thank you. I purchased two cordless drills, one is attached to a Clam auger adapter. I use it for ice fishing. It has an 8 inch auger on it and it goes through the ice in no time. The other I use to anchor my pop up ice shelter. sinks those tent poles fast. I have a 6 inch auger for it. For the days when we are hiking in to an offbeat location. These uses might seem unconventional, but I’m retired. I wish I’d owned these when I was working for a living.

Love the HammerVac. We install Hospital storage and dust extraction is crucial. A lot of times we work in sterile areas and this is the tool for the job.

Has the power and versatility I need, and I love the fact I can control who can and can’t use it. Definitely my favorite drill !!!

We put concrete anchors in all over the plant and on the walls hanging pipe and equipment. this 1/2 inch hammer drill has no problems keeping up all day.

I use this hammer drill all day long everyday and absolutely love it. I like how versatile it is and can switch between drilling masonry and other materials just by twisting the head. If you want a drill that you do not have to worry about, this is it. My crew has dropped it from ladders and knock it around and it still works great.

I am a electrician working in a strick safety first environment. My one key drill is the only drill that allows me to utilize it in a one handed fashion due to its anti kickback capability

Can do our work without these drills, currently have about 15 (new and old) drills in the fleet and they just keep working. Never had to send one in for warranty or anything and my guys will tear some stuff up. These get dropped, ran hard and hot and just keep working. It didn’t take us too long before we learned that we can’t make it with lesser drills, Milwaukee is the only one we can trust.

Versatility and power smart fuel drills are great for fabrication and installation fire protection systems. With only 2 -3 times a day back to my chargers ready to go use of 5 amp and 4 amp batteries keep me going all day with heavy duty use. The slim line batteries are great for tight areas as well to get the job done although they don’t last as long it keeps us moving forward

The one key app enables me to secure my drill. I also love the drill for the control and power as needed for my low voltage cabling jobs.

This is the Milwaukee 2806-22 One-Key 1/2” Hammer Drill kit. The kit includes the hammer drill, two 5.0Ah batteries, charger, side handle, and molded carrying case. A bit holder and belt clip come pre-installed. As far as I can tell, this tool is exactly the same as the 2804 hammer drill, but with One-Key built-in (and costs about $50 more for a similar kit with the 2804, i.e., the 2804-22).The pre-installed battery has a plastic strip that must be removed before the battery can actually power the tool (I’ve never seen this before on Milwaukee tools, but this is my first One-Key, so that must be why). It also has a big STOP label attached informing you that you must activate the tool before you can use One-Key to track and secure it (see Photo 1). Don’t try and just pull out the plastic strip—you need to remove the battery first (see Photo 2).To test the hammer drill, I installed my 18” long, 1″ auger bit (Milwaukee 18-13-6000, which is an older version of the current bit, which is 48-13-6000) to drill down the length of a 4×6 (both on speed 1 and speed 2). It had no trouble with this, even on the faster speed, which has less torque than the low speed. The drill was equally proficient at drilling holes with a 5/16” masonry bit into some 20-odd year old concrete. When using the drill, you can just feel the raw power this thing has. It’s impressive.I’m new to One-Key, so I had to read-up on what it’s capable of and how to use it. The manual suggests you check out milwaukeetool.com/one-key to learn about this. In general, One-Key lets you manage your tool inventory, track where your tools are, and customize the three mode settings on the tool. Once I had the app installed, I played around with it for over an hour to become familiar with how it works. It was not always intuitive and took me some time to figure out.If you’re new to One-Key, you first need to load the app on your phone (for Android, go to Google Play, for Apple, go to AppStore). Once installed you tap Get Started and either create an account, or, if you already have a Milwaukee account (perhaps you registered a tool in the past), you can sign in with that account info. To add your new tool (be sure your phone’s Bluetooth is on), from the Inventory screen, tap +, press the trigger on the tool to wake it up, and then follow the screen prompts. After the tool is added, you can add additional info, or do it later. Note that, if you use the same log-in credentials you used for registering other Milwaukee tools, those tools will also show up on the inventory screen. I thought that was cool.An interesting thing, I thought, is that, when you select your One-Key tool from the Inventory screen, and view the Item Detail screen, on the bottom there is Item Info. If you tap that, you see that status of the Coin Cell Battery. This made me curious, so I looked at the bottom of the tool where the battery mounts and noticed a small removable door (see Photo 3). I removed the cover and sure enough, there’s a small battery there (see Photo 4). The manual confirmed this on page 6—it’s a CR2032 and must power the Bluetooth circuitry. This must be how you can locate your One-Key tool, even if it doesn’t have a charged M18 battery installed—just guessing…Now that you have One-Key up and running, spend some time with it and you’ll discover how and where to enter the tools purchase info, value, service record, and so on. You can assign the tool to a Place, Person, and Division (note, at first I could not figure out how to assign a Place—there was no + icon on that page (the only thing you can do here is a search). Then I selected Places (on the bottom of the main screen). This let me add a location (e.g., Shop). Then “Shop” showed up when trying to assign a Place. You can do some really cool thing once your tool is connected (either select Nearby from the main screen, and then select your tool, or select CONNECT TO TOOL from the Item Detail screen). Now, under Universal Settings, you can set how long the LED work light stays on (15—default, 30, 60, Always On), brightness, anti-kickback control, clutch collar torque range, and On-tool reset. These settings apply to all three modes. If you go back a screen, you set the parameters for each individual mode. Mode 3 is set to not restrict the tool in any way (max speeds on both ranges and anti-kickback is disabled). Modes 1 and 2 have the speed set to lower than max and, Mode 1 has anti-kickback set to high, Mode 2 has anti-kickback set to Disabled. Overall, this is an impressive hammer drill and software system—even if it did take a little while to figure it all out. And note that, if you sign in to your account from the Milwaukee web site (milwaukeetool.com), and select One-Key under your name, you can manage your tools from a computer instead of you phone.

I purchased this drill and then realized I bought a different drill than the model number I wanted. I returned it with plans to buy another one. I purchased another brand for cost reasons. The drill looked and felt good, but I didnt have a chance to use it.

I use this drill at work and at home both industrial and residential settings it performs perfectly.the only downside is my other drills are now dust collectors.
