To big for convenient use. Definitely not as much torque as a plug in version. A gimmick I could have live without.

After 6 months of owning this tool ive got to say its a beast. I usually rough in 24 units in a day from hole sizes ranging from 1 3/8 – 6 inch. It goes through about 40 amp hours in total. A 12.0 can get me through about 2 units. It does get warm and that was during the summer heat at 100 degrees plus. The Milwaukee Super Hawg Gen 2 did exactly what it was supposed to do.

Can’t rate it yet. Had surgery and it will be six weeks before I can play with it. Have a project ready to go but just can’t now.

I do commercial plumbing and have to drill 1,000’s of holes of all sizes. No more 100’ extension cords just put in a &bit and go! Well balanced and excellent torque. Good run time with 9.0 Ah battery.

I use the right angle drill to create holes in floor, ceiling joists and vertical framing members. Love the power and tolerate the weight to get the job done fast.

I BOufht this tool specifically to power a man a rather large auger bit so I can do my own digging for trees and postholes. It does the job!! Big time and body saver!

This drill replaced our corded milwaukee right angle drills. Never tried the corded super hawg but this drill is way faster and more powerful than the right angled milwaukees. We use it with 18″ 1 inch diameter bosch augers and it cuts through studs no problem. Have used it on 2,3, even 5 studs and it powers through on its high speed. Im currently using it in a commercial setting in the electrical field, this drill is optimized for plumbers that need to make bigger holes, but for us its doing everyrhing we ask and more! I would totally recommend this to anyone who is an electrician and owns Milwaukee. Also to people that are looking to cug the cord and switch to cordless, this drill has the power and speed to withstand a whole days work on a 12.0ah battery. Drilling through double studs it easily still has 3 bars of battery after lunchtime. Have only had it 2 or 3 weeks but this drill is way better than what we were using before. What i like most about it is the speed. Even on high, it can take anything we throw at it. I would recommend the chucked version in case you want to use it for anythung else. I saw a guy on instagram @knarlycarl use it to use a ground auger to drill underneath a sidewalk through dirt with this drill! Pretty sure you can mix cement with it also. It met my expectations and exceeded them. Going from using the hole hawg to this its a big improvement and way mroe powerful. Weight hasnt really been an issue, and we do a lot of overhead drilling. My favorite tool milwaukee makes right now for sure, 100%.

Unbelievable power and not having to pull a cord makes this a must have. Especially on service calls when you only need a few holes or one large hole drilled. Rarely pulling a cord off the truck anymore since changing to the M18 tools.

This drill has so much torque. I would guess it has more torque than most other brand’s corded drills. I got the keyed chuck because I didnt want to be locked in to using only the quick change type bits. I was glad too. On the first job I went on with this drill, I forgot to load my regular cordless drill. I needed to drill a 3/8” hole in a metal electrical enclosure. I had the bits and just chucked them up in this right angle drill. Was a little awkward, but it worked. Would not have been possible with the quick lock chuck version. So keep that in mind.

I am a plumber that drills larger holes in new housing projects. Having a drill that can handle the larger sized holes is essential for what I need and this drill does the job greatly. And being cordless is even better, I have the same drill in the corded version and knew I would not be disappointed. Only thing I did not like was that when I was using drill non stop drilling 4-1/4” holes in 2×6 walls for my piping, the batteries got to hot and as a result I had to switch them out to cool off fairly regularly.
