The Milwaukee super hole hang is a most for anyone that regular needs a right angle drill. The drill is very well balanced and fits very ergonomically in your hands. It features a nice front hand hold to use when drilling. And also features a auxiliary side handle for use when using large bits. The run time with the battery is great. You could drill out a regular house on one and a half batteries so it could last the hole day with out the need to recharge them. The included bag is a nice heavy weight bag with plenty of room to store the bits that you regular use. It’s feature a mechanical clutch on low speed so if the bit binds it disengages the chuck and stops spinning to save you from injury

This heavy duty cordless drill leaves no prisoners. I used this to drill holes in the studs for the wiring of my pole barn and attached garage. It just walked through the studs, even double studs without losing a bit of power. I drilled about 50 holes on the first day and used half the battery. I started out pushing the drill through the studs, then borrowed a self feeder and watch out, it pulled it right through super easy. Sure beats pulling a cord around. The chuck is excellent and the key is built into the handle with a quality clip. The tool is awesome and I can see myself using this for electrical and even more so plumbing. Milwaukee built this to last.

This drill replaced our corded milwaukee right angle drills. Never tried the corded super hawg but this drill is way faster and more powerful than the right angled milwaukees. We use it with 18″ 1 inch diameter bosch augers and it cuts through studs no problem. Have used it on 2,3, even 5 studs and it powers through on its high speed. Im currently using it in a commercial setting in the electrical field, this drill is optimized for plumbers that need to make bigger holes, but for us its doing everyrhing we ask and more! I would totally recommend this to anyone who is an electrician and owns Milwaukee. Also to people that are looking to cug the cord and switch to cordless, this drill has the power and speed to withstand a whole days work on a 12.0ah battery. Drilling through double studs it easily still has 3 bars of battery after lunchtime. Have only had it 2 or 3 weeks but this drill is way better than what we were using before. What i like most about it is the speed. Even on high, it can take anything we throw at it. I would recommend the chucked version in case you want to use it for anythung else. I saw a guy on instagram @knarlycarl use it to use a ground auger to drill underneath a sidewalk through dirt with this drill! Pretty sure you can mix cement with it also. It met my expectations and exceeded them. Going from using the hole hawg to this its a big improvement and way mroe powerful. Weight hasnt really been an issue, and we do a lot of overhead drilling. My favorite tool milwaukee makes right now for sure, 100%.

This is by far the most powerful cordless drill I have ever used. This replaced an older Milwaukee corded right angle drill that I’ve used for years, and I’m very pleased with it so far. The drill cuts holes and turns screws like a 14 lb. butter knife. I used it to drive some lags into some fence posts, and was amazed at how it out performed my trusty impact drill. The drill is heavy, but it’s actually lighter than competing drills of most other brands. It’s slimmer too, making it that much easier to get into tight spaces. And at 1,550 RPMs, it’s faster too. (Some times too fast… careful with that trigger). Ergonomically, it feels pretty good. I like the placement of the trigger, and the variety of positions the drill can be handled. And with a five year warranty, you know Milwaukee built this tool to last. Milwaukee has dozens of tools in the M18 family that accept the same battery and charger, so if there’s one platform to settle on, this is the one.

This is to replace my old corded Milwaukee Super Hawg. While this is easily the most powerful battery operated drill I have used it still is not as powerful as my old (15years) Super Hawg. On the other hand it will certainly suffice for almost everything I do. The 9AH M18 battery lasts almost forever. I have yet to run one down no matter how many holes I bore. If you were working the drill hard enough to run a battery down it would still take several hours and the M18 charge station can bring one up to full charge in about an hour. One of the best features of this drill is the two speed gearbox combined with a clutch when using the low speed. Even when i don’t need the power of the low speed it makes controlling the drill easier and with self feed bits they actually cut better at a low speed. The clutch is essential on this setting because of the immense amount of torque that is available. I decided that I would get the Super Hawg that has the regular chuck rather than the quick change chuck since that allows me to use attachments that aren’t designed for quick change. I am so glad that Milwaukee included a very efficient holder for a chuck key on the base of the drill. My old corded model has the chuck key taped to the cord which is not the best way to use a chuck key. This unit is of the high quality that you expect from Milwaukee.

Great tool!

Great tool but heavy as it should so this will replace weight lifting at home.I find that high speed works best with hole saws and low with self feed bits and so far I haven’t gotten stuck or twisted a wrist and expect that the clutch will do it’s work if it happens.I drill for plumbing rough in and had done a home so far with this tool.

I BOufht this tool specifically to power a man a rather large auger bit so I can do my own digging for trees and postholes. It does the job!! Big time and body saver!

After 6 months of owning this tool ive got to say its a beast. I usually rough in 24 units in a day from hole sizes ranging from 1 3/8 – 6 inch. It goes through about 40 amp hours in total. A 12.0 can get me through about 2 units. It does get warm and that was during the summer heat at 100 degrees plus. The Milwaukee Super Hawg Gen 2 did exactly what it was supposed to do.

You’re probably reading reviews to find out if this is as good as the corded hole hawg. The answer is yes. It may even be better. This is the most powerful battery operated tool I have ever used. It definitely holds up to the super hawg reputation. To me the main benefit of a right angle drill is access in tight spaces. Ditching the cord makes that access even better and I think even if power is available, this is a better option. The kit comes with the drill, a handle (please use it, this drill will reverse the rotation of the earth if the bit gets stuck) 2 batteries and a rapid charger. I mostly install cable and drill through floors/floorboards and 2 dozen 3/4″ holes didn’t even knock the battery down one notch. I really like the dual gearbox so you get low speed or high speed both at max torque. The chuck is the real deal and I’m really glad they didn’t go keyless. There is storage on the body for the chuck key, but I’ll still loose it so I got a cord tether. Yes it’s heavy, but it’s not any heavier than it needs to be. This is an instant “can’t be without one” tool

Wow! What a powerful drill ! I really like this right angle drill . This drill doesn’t stress in hard jobs. It is a very strong high quality tool, solidly built. It runs as fast as my corded drill and I don’t have to lug around an extension or generator. The brushless motor will last a long time. Having two speeds is great because it gives me more control when drilling or cutting holes. It comes with a high output Red Lithium battery which lasts. Also has a light to help you see what your drilling. Milwaukee makes excellent tools.

Can’t rate it yet. Had surgery and it will be six weeks before I can play with it. Have a project ready to go but just can’t now.

A bit too heavy for everyday use in plumbing ill definitely be buying just the cordless hole hawg also but works awesome!!

Works as good as my corded Super Hawg with out the hassle of dragging a power cord around. I work a lot in remote rural areas with no electric service so now I don’t have to drag out my generator. Milwaukee tools are the best and I got a great discount at Home Depot with fast free shipping. I would definitely recommend Milwaukee tools and purchasing them from Home Depot to anyone!

To big for convenient use. Definitely not as much torque as a plug in version. A gimmick I could have live without.

Pros: powerful (use to drill 2 foot deep holes 3 inches wide. It’s power is super!!! You can feel it pulling with the auger. Cons: expensive, bad trigger ( have to hit it a few times to get it started.) battery killer.
