The M18 FUEL Mud Mixer with 180 handle is the industry’s first dedicated cordless solution that delivers the performance and durability to fully replace corded mixers. With the POWERSTATE Brushless motor it has the power to mix heavy compounds, such as concrete and mortar. Using our REDLINK intelligence the variable speed dial, the variable speed trigger and the lock on button combine to give the user ultimate control for a consistent mix and cleaner working environment. With the M18 REDLITHIUM battery the user can mix up to 15, 5-Gal buckets on one 5.0Ah battery. The 180 adjustable handle is designed to allow every user to optimize the handle position for their comfort. This Milwaukee cordless solution increases productivity by eliminating the need for cords and allows the user to mix the material at the workspace where it is being applied.

Well designed, I love the thumb dial to increase/ reduce the speed this made adjusting the speed simple. There is a chuck key in the handle. I would like to have a chain or something attached to one end of the key just to ensure that it does not get lost, but as I write I realize that could be a safety issue with the chain potentially being caught up in the paddle. Rotating the handle is easy, to me, there is a latch on the all black handle to lock and unlock it. I used this to mix special Dust Control Compound and this worked well. There is an LED light which was useful as I was in the basement with little lighting.

The mud drill by Milwaukee is excellent for mixing concrete in a 5 gallon bucket or wheel barrel. Its design is balanced to control the mixing with little effort. The unit can also be used as a drill. The dual handle design is unique and makes control of the unit ideal.

This thing works! I have not used it on a big tile job yet. But I have been using it on a smaller project. About two, 3.5 gallon buckets of thinset per day for the past 7 days. Mixes great!

I was kinda on leery about buying due to it being 1st gen ,but so glad I bought….We use it everyday to mix motar 10hrs a and it hasn’t let us down yet ….I use the 8.0 high output battery and by end of day still have one bar left ….Keep the new tools coming milwaukee!!!!!!!!!

I bought this for ice fishing. It works great! Having an actual keyed chuck is also nice so that you can really tighten down on the auger adapter and not have to worry about it coming loose. The variable speed seems to be of help, also. I believe this is a much handier way to auger a hole into the ice versus a standard drill. As a bonus I have to drywall, mud and tape my cabin so I’m sure this will work great mixing the mud up!

Great tool! the batteries and bag was sA huge plus. I use it for mixing thin set mortar i prefer a 9.0 battery for a lil added power but the 5.0s run it just fine.
