I own a christmas tree farm and bought this saw to help with our tree sales. It did an amazing job! I perferred using this saw versus my commercial gas saw. You will be suprised how handy this electric saw is. Battery life is suprisingly good, I was able to get away with a single high demand lithium battery for the day. I would recommend having two high demand lithium batteries and a rapid charger if you are going to use it continuously. I was skeptical at first, just like you…. But you will be happy with this purchase.

High quality and powerful. I used a 12.0 AH Battery and got about 3 hours of start and stop cutting. It outlasted my back!You can really cut up wood quickly compared to a gas saw. 2 batteries and you are good to go. Best part is there is no noise and smoke to deal with.

It may not look the part, but once you insert an M18 High Output battery, it plays the part. I purchased this chainsaw after many battles with my gas powered. It starts right up and cuts through tress with ease. Easy maintenance and clean up. I do light tree work around the yard and purchased a M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC6.0 battery.
