Great chainsaw, cut 10”-12” branches like butter. Never lacked power. It will probably sit in the garage for another 6 months before I need to use it again and the best part is no more having to screw with the carburetor for a hour before I can use it. Extremely impressed with Milwaukee’s outdoor M18 units.

I love this saw, I have worked it really hard. Cut up several large trees that we had cut down. I have only used 9.0 batteries on it as that is what I have. The oiler works pretty good! Just make sure to have plenty of bar oil on hand if your going to cut most of the day. There is one negative thing that is a easy fix and pretty cheap. The bar is very flimsy, it will twist while cutting a decent size log. I replaced with a Oregon 16″ bar and chain and it’s perfect! The Oregon bar and chain is under $40 bucks.

Great build quality, as expected from a Milwaukee tool. Tool-less disconnect between handle and tool. Very positive lock. I used it with the Pole Saw. Extensions interface flawlessly. Used 3 extensions together, so I could trim some high branches, and stay firmly on the ground. This replaced a Ryobi Pole Saw, which worked but had way too many plastic parts and felt like a toy.

Love this saw, compatible with the M18 battery that I use for my hand drill and K drill. This saw is lightweight and is good for maybe 90 minutes of non stop cuts.

I am really pleased with the cutting power

The saw works great. However, saying it cuts better than a gas saw isn’t something I would say. Better have two batteries if you have a lot to cut.

This saw performed well beyond my expectations. I can’t believe the power of this saw. Originally bought it for my wife to cut up some fallen branches but we ended up taking a couple of oaks down.

The replacement chain is the Oregon AdvanceCut R56.

NOTHING TO ASSEMBLE JUST ADD OIL, CHARGE BATTERY, GO TO WORK. SAW HAS MOR POWER THEN I THOUGHT. CUTS VERY FAST AND NO ENGINE NOISE.

Needed a saw to cut up a Live Oak that came down during Sally. Already had the batteries so this was an good solution. This saw cuts excellent. It was no problem cutting up my Oak tree never bogged and the battery lasted longer than I did. this is a great saw.

Very happy with this trimmer. Balanced well and easy to use. I bought this for my wife to use in the garden area which has a lot of ground. It trims grass and weeds with ease. We have our bigger trimmers for bigger stuff like thick brush around the farm. You can use this Milwaukee trimmer to cut thick stuff but I don’t think it was made for that. We used my 12ah battery for longer run time and power but you can use any battery. It feeds out line very smoothly with just a bump on the trim head. Reloading line with no tools is a plus. Don’t have to remove or open the trim head to reload line. Just feed line through the holes, make sure line is equal on both sides of trim head and wind the reloader by hand. We are getting the pole saw attachment this morning which is another great feature about this tool. You can swap the head to accommodate what your needs are. Built super solid! I really recommend this to anyone looking for a cordless trimmer. A lil pricey, but well worth the cost for a tool that can more than trim.
